Nudity is nudity in any case, it's not like the ESRB rates it differently depending on whether it is male or female.
How does Neon Arcade find a lot of male romances, but Madqueen didn't? I'm wondering if you play as a gay male V they'll show more men? I think Madqueen romanced Judy as a female so maybe that was the reason why she didn't see so many men@5:50 in this new clip from Neon Arcade should clear up a few doubts maybe.
He confirms the presence of male prostitutes and sexualisation.
So he does not say that. He there were a lot, in his opinion, male "side-romances" as in male escorts, but as for actual romances he did not find the male romances to be on par with the male romances. How does Neon Arcade find a lot of male romances, but Madqueen didn't? I am so heavily disappointed by this. I was really hoping the game would be even the slightest bit progressive in this regard, but it looks like the cis, straight, white, male narrative won out at CDPR...Here is the part of MadQueens criticism on the sexualization of characters in CP2077. (Assuming the timestamp works)
The video is spoiler-free.
Yeah but I don't think he actively looked for male romances because he was trying to romance Judy lol. We need to hear from someone who started the game playing as a gay male V or straight female V... Because Madqueen romanced Judy lol.So he does not say that. I agree, especially after they took the effort to promise representation. Oh well, maybe ironically we'll finally have full equal representation in 2077...The game looks like it would be great overall, but it would be disappointing and a legitimate reason for criticism if the game world was built entirely with a straight male V in mind.

Perhaps if this is true you have to turn over a few rocks to find them!
We'll see on Dec 10th I suppose.

I would be very excited if you can find some sort of hidden underground gay club! Now that would be awesome!
I feel like maybe you have to be actively looking for men to see it? And since Madqueen romanced Judy that may have affected her gameplay somehow. Also, she hasn't had THAT much time exploring the world (I don't think- dunno how many hours she has played) anyway I trust CDPR when they say there are equal amounts. We'll see on Dec 10th I suppose.

I'm fine with and even happy with an overall catering to heterosexual gamers. Still throw us homos a little meat. As the polling I've done suggests the demographics break down like this.
I have no idea if that is what went on with CD Projekt Red, but there does seem to be this odd thing with a lot of straight men in general where they're unable to recognize what people who are attracted to men find attractive in men.So far, I've been incredibly disappointed with what I've seen for men, and feel overlooked as a gay player.
After years of CDPR exclaiming equal sexualization/romanticization of men and women, it is frustrating to see the content pour out with obvious and blatant favoritism towards straight men with all the hyper sexualization of women in trailers, ads and clips.
Deep down, I kind of knew this would happen given CDPR's history with games and their leanings in "bro" vibes... but it still really sucks. As a studio, I feel they lack the diversity to cater appropriately, and this may even come off as a non-issue to them. Seriously, when looking through videos of possible romance options, the men were horrendously unattractive and sparked nothing in me. I wondered if there were any directors at DCPR who were into men at all and could understand this?? Because smite me.
Grey suit, or Mr. Jenkins has serious daddy vibes, yes please, but that was about the only interest that got me perked- and the chances he can even get sexual, let alone with a male V, is low and certainly not confirmed.
I hate feeling like I *may* have to play a female V to really experience the romance side with a man the way I want. But it always ends up feeling void and meaningless if I am female character because it defeats the whole purpose of my desires as a gay player. These doubts take me back to 2009 all over again.
Actually it is a little harder than that. You don't want to copy and paste stereotypically attractive fellas. Take Kasuga in Yakuza Like a Dragon. Not necessarily the kind of fella you'd typically find attractive, but he is nice looking and what really draws me to him is his earnest personality. His wonderful facial expressions. His ability to tug at your heart strings. That story grabbed my heart and took it for a rollercoaster ride. It's not that hard. Ask female or gay developers. Or google images of famous men that people often find attractive, and make a character whose appearance is somewhere in that ballpark.

Now what is easy is to not make ugly guys. Not saying don't have them period, but when it comes to romancable fellas, strippers, or prostitute you want them to be few and far between.
