I know what really happened

I gave this many thoughts, comparing facts, investigating and more thoughts.

So I came to conclusion and ready to tell you what really happened. The aswer to question on why we keep finding the Story of Witcher games a little inconvenient and sometimes bizarre.

As we all know Ciri brought Geralt to Kaer Morhen after 5 years or so. But dates seems to be not right as well as many small details.

In fact Ciri is very bad of controlling her power and even worse in traveling among the worlds. So she brought Geralt from the books into a SIMILAR world. Similar but not the one we know.

Ready for you critics and applause

The witch hunt ended in 1276 so maybe she traded bad radovid for good radovid. :p

Would seem fitting if she travelled to the present times and brought back a bolt action sniper and was Kaer Morhen's watchguard while Geralt and Yen were in the bedroom getting it on.

Bring back a Taylor Swift album while she's at it too. And for her own leisure a few assault rifles and a PhunkeeDunk wouldn't do any harm.

I find the whole concept behind this thread silly, but I'm not going to delete something just because I personally find it ridiculous.

However, I will delete it if it's utterly pointless and harbours no actual story discussion. Snipers, Rifles and Taylor Swift are presently not helping, so I suggest either turning this discussion legitimate (Somehow), or you can take it where random off-topic is welcome.

On a slightly more serious note, I doubt whether it's still possible (or whether if it's CDPR's idea in the first place) to perfectly adhere to canonical timelines. Since the players are given the choice to significantly alter the outcomes of events that may have a direct impact on the state of the Witcherverse, it would require some rather ridiculous course correction to return everything to canon.

For example, does the witch hunt end early if one of its key patrons is bumped off? Is it still possible for Morvran Voorhis to ascend to the Nilfgaardian throne if Ciri becomes Empress? Will the plague be as devastating if Keira Metz discovers a cure?

So yeah, Blinky might have messed up the worlds after all.

As far as this game goes I have looked at the endings and thought hmmmmmmm Ciri doesn't like her current ending go back and try another . Also a good way to pass the blame if you don't like your play through .

Well, Sapkowski's timeline is not perfect as well. There are some contradictions.

Morvran makes it clear that he is an ideal husband for Ciri, because he has the strongest claim and his father is cunning and powerful. But the succession of Jan Calveit would be more problematic.

The chronology here http://thewitcher.com/witcher1/ says this:
May 1270 On the festival of Belleteyn witcher Geralt of Rivia, until now considered dead, appears near castle Kaer Morhen. He’s being pursued by the Wild Hunt, but the sorceress Triss Merigold saves him from the wraiths.

I remember those words about 5 years from TW1 prologue, but I think devs just changed their mind later.

Please note in this world no one is surprised that Emhyr has a child and that child is Ciri of Cintra.

My theory proven by many facts: from Triss' green eyes to Ciri - lawful daughter of Emhyr.

In all honesty I like this theory and makes the game world a place subject to change . This makes all endings plausible .

So Geralt was with Eredin and the red riders but your suggesting Ciri dropped him in a mirror world with a few differences.

Something like that, you know constants and variables
