I LOVE IT vs I HATE IT

+
I found something I LOVE about this game...Unlike other games that I like to switch on from time to time, this is the only one that gave me that tingling feelingdown my spine when I watched the animation sequences and submerged myself deep down the road provided. It's one of the reasons this game deserves props. Anyways, no matter what saved game I open, I know it'll be worth it. :peace:

Greetings to everyone, i'm kinda new to the witcher and the community and after playing the game for quite a while now i just felt like creating a thread just to praise cd projekt red.Okay, what have you done!?I'm so amazed on how AWESOME this crpg is.. i easily place it in my top5 RPG list(along with Baldurs Gate, planescape, vtm: bloodlines etc)the music.. the characters.. the atmosphere(!) everything is so amazing, just love running in the outskirts/swamps/towns while raining with monsters lurking around. For me, the most atmospheric rpg was VTM:Bloodlines.. untill i discovered the Witcher. And what you guys did with Enhanced edition.. providing all that extra hard-work for FREE - what to say, i bow before you.I better stop now, i could go on for ages.Love you and love Geralt(and his potions ;D).. hope he doesn't change much in the upcoming sequel! and no surprises like new voice actors or anything either! ;)

welcome and as GW pointed out a lot of us feel the same way Wait till March of this year for more news On TW2 Im sure a lot of us will be veary happy :peace:

I agree, I just purchased the game during the holidays and I basically played nothing else in the month it took me to complete the game. best crpg i've played in many years and I look forward to the second one.

Why March? Something I missed? I'll look around some more, but this get's my blood boiling just reading how close that sounds. :peace:

I hate the witcher because I can't run it on full details on my poor computer. But I'm gonna buy new one that i can play the witcher 2 on it :p

Well, I said I was going to include this here so here goes:I HATE (ok, I Dislike... but anyways) IT when dialog starts and besides the precise voice-overs and intriguing options, the characters engagedjust stand like zombies staring lifelessly into each other. Annoying, but barely noticeable at first and improves in TW2 so I'm not upset that much. :peace:

Its 2010 and I have just dust off my 2007 version of The Witcher, and you people have sent me into a one wild month of January. Thank you so much CDPR for The Witcher, nothing comes close to the story, the betrayal, and combat of this game. Lastly, the forum at CDPR is friendlier than in the bioware social network. Thank you so much guys!

As it was said somewhere before you surely will have time to save some money for a new computer ;) (I myself will have to do that)

Computers aren't all or nothing -- they're upgradeable! You might not need an entirely new computer, just more memory or a new graphics card. Many people are afraid to open the case and poke around in their computer, but it's a lot simpler than most people think, and there are tutorials all over the place.

I agree, but what if we're talking laptop-wise? Then the scenario changes because laptops are not easy to upgrade. Besides some more RAM or something, its fixed. :hmmm:

Ha! I'm an exception. Some weeks ago I merely opened my keyboard because the wire was broken. I fixed it and some days later I couldn't use mouse and keyboard anymore because I caused a short-circuit at the USB connection. ouups, what went wrong

I'm thinking of buying PS3, but still not sure of that.It is much easier for me, as in summer i'm travelling a lot and i can't take my computer with me :hmmm:

Oh, dear! I'm sorry to hear that.

This is why God invented laptops. ;)(Okay, so it wasn't God. You know what I mean. ;D)
