I want The Witcher 3: Wild Hunts but...

I don't have a PS4 but i really want The Witcher 3, i am trying to save up money for school so spending $400+ is a lot, especially since i live in Canada where the PS4 is more expensive.

Any tips?

P.S My PC wouldn't be good enough to run TW3.

What hardware do you have on your PC? Maybe a partial upgrade would be cheaper. Of course you probably won't be able to play on maximum, but if that is not that important to you.

I actually want a few PS4 exclusives already so TW3 wouldn't be the only game i want, it just is one of my most wanted games on it.

Money for school is obviously more important than for a game (even one like this). Be patient. How old are you? Can't you get a small job on the side or something?
Do some choires for your parents family? Maybe your parents want to lend you the money?

I have a PS4, and honestly, if you can upgrade your PC for the same amount of money instead, I'm not sure the PS4 exclusives are worth it at the moment. Bloodborne is really, really aweome, but that's about the only thing I can think of. Not to mention since you're not swimming in money to begin with, a reasonably up to date PC will allow you to get tons of games for relatively little money via Steam.

I suck with the whole listing PC specs but hopefully this is it.

My PC is from 2010 and it has a Pentium duel core CPU T4500 @2.30GHz with 4GB (2.90GB usable)

Not sure if that's what your looking for, im not much of a PC gamer as you can tell.

Your hardware won't run the game at all. The processor is not intended for games like Witcher 3. Just to say, when I'm starting the game I'm starting with 2,5gb of memory used. 3 hours later it's up to 5.3gb :(

I don't know if it's out yet, or what the status of the service is.... But have you considered Nvidia Grid? You'll need a kepler gpu for it (if I remember correctly) and you can stream the game... If you have the bandwidth or internet for it.

I don't know what is your point.
Are you expecting somebody here to say: "Since you really, really, really want to play ps4 exclusives, I will give you money"?
You know best your situation. What tips are you asking for? Earn, borrow? Here you are.
Sometimes its hard to get everything you want.

School is expensive, and one of those things you should get right the first time. Ive been a hardcore/addicted gamer since 8 yrs of age when I was given an NES for my bday.

I put all my consoles away during college, and even gave my dreamcast away and didnt play any games, but thats just me.

I highly reccomed getting a decent pc/laptop for college, and if i was you Id save up for a killer 13" gaming laptop from asus, dell, etc... in the 1200 ballpark, or slowly piece together a nice setup to play Witcher 3 at 60 fps.

Dont get me wrong ots great and all on the ps4, but as soon as i get my pc finished, which could take another year, ill be playing this masterpiece in 60 fps glory, bc 30 doesnt do it the justice it deserves. And no, im not a gfx hore.

Should I buy the game for $64.20 or wait?

So as you guys might know from my other thread that I don't have a PS4 yet but I am planning on buying one hopefully soon, I found a copy of TW3 on an auction site for $49.99 US (64.20 canadian) with bonus content.

The game is selling very well so I doubt the game will drop in price anytime soon but I just don't want tot make an impulse buy and later regret it.

Should I just buy it now or wait?

Since you don't have any hardware to play it on, you should probably wait.

I too can't believe there is an entire thread going because of this. $400 is a good half day's work.

edit: and it is NOT more expensive in Canada, your economy is going to sh*t compared to every other dollar worldwide. Stop voting in Socialist politicians and policies, elect people who know how to make money and your problem is solved.
