Yes, it is pretty abandoned right now...Corylea said:Hairy Bear, guys!![]()

E-mail attachments can't be "sent back;" they're always attached to the e-mail they were sent with. But I promise not to use your picture, so you needn't worry about it.234ab said:I read a model release, and sorry I don't allow use to my pic, please send back.
Right, I know you smart.Corylea said:E-mail attachments can't be "sent back;" they're always attached to the e-mail they were sent with. But I promise not to use your picture, so you needn't worry about it.
I read that yesterday, and after my decide: I can't give my face...SquallDLeonhart said:..and why did you not read it first?
From the Witcher forum? Five kind and helpful people have sent pictures, and several others have sent promises.Lyc said:Out of curiosity, how many faces have you added to your collection so far?
Wonderful! I'll look forward to seeing your pictures.Yakkuz said:Just give me a bit of time to read the model details and stuff and you've just got the sixth face.
I find it very COOL.
Hoping you the best.
You have to be a bit careful thogh - some release totally free, other only for non-commercial purposes. And then you have royalty free/non royalty where they may/may not glomp a some of the profit.Dragon said:Hey Cory, have you thought about using stock photos from models? As far as I know, some of them release all rights to the photos, allowing you to use them however you want. That's what Bioware did for Tali's face.
There are five reasons why I'm asking for pictures here, on the Witcher forum:Dragon said:Hey Cory, have you thought about using stock photos from models? All very true! Plus, there are the reasons I mentioned above. And I don't expect there to BE any profit, which could complicate matters for those who want royalties.Dragon said:You have to be a bit careful thogh - some release totally free, other only for non-commercial purposes. I doubt Cory has EA's lawyers to work out the nitty gritty legalese so it's safer to have volunteers who have signed the release, as then everyone knows where they stand.
And you're wearing black pants and a white shirt in the pictures you sent me, which is the usual uniform for waiters, at least in my country.SquallDLeonhart said:Waiter?..I want to be a Paladin in shining armour
..joke, joke
..Waiter is good and I like cooking, so work in a restaurant could be very fun

Thanks for the tip! I looked at DeviantArt's Photography/People section and didn't find anything usable. It's an art site, so most of the poses are way more dramatic than I can use, or they think it's artistic to cut off the top of the person's head or something. They look cool, but they're not suitable for game characters.etainne said:Deviant art has a whole subclass of people who model in it - Treasa was saying as she was getting ready for work today. She said they do the modeling for stills but you might find a few for fillers if you look over there. Just passing it along.
Thanks, hon! I appreciate that. And thanks for your pictures! Oh, and just to be clear, I didn't mention you in the post above because I haven't decided which character you'll be yet; I do value your contributions!I hope you get lots of people who want to join you in this way. I love the idea of it, really I do!
Maybe I was looking in the wrong section; I don't think I saw a "model" section. I'll check again.edit: oops not subclass- subsection - oh dear oops
