E-mail attachments can't be "sent back;" they're always attached to the e-mail they were sent with. But I promise not to use your picture, so you needn't worry about it.234ab said:

You have to be a bit careful thogh - some release totally free, other only for non-commercial purposes. I doubt Cory has EA's lawyers to work out the nitty gritty legalese so it's safer to have volunteers who have signed the release, as then everyone knows where they stand.

1. I thought it might be FUN for gamers to be IN a game.
2. I'm very fond of some of the people here, and I think it would be a blast to have them in my game.
3. I've given a lot to the Witcher community, and I thought some of the people here might enjoy giving back.
4. Most stock photos cost money that I don't have or come with legal entanglements that I either don't understand or don't want to become involved in.
5. Most stock photos do NOT have the same model, wearing the same clothes, with several different expressions on their face, but that's what I need for the major characters.
Sure, I'll check out stock photos and might be able to find a couple of usable ones. But won't it be more fun to go to the Italian restaurant and find that Squall D. Leonhart is your waiter? Go to the lawyer's office, speak to her secretary, and find that it's Pandoracai? Go to see the historian in order to pick his brain about a quest you're on and find out it's Guy N'wah? Maybe it's just me, but I think that'd be a lot more fun.
All very true! Plus, there are the reasons I mentioned above. And I don't expect there to BE any profit, which could complicate matters for those who want royalties.Dragon said:

Cory- Deviant art has a whole subclass of people who model in it - Treasa was saying as she was getting ready for work today. She said they do the modeling for stills but you might find a few for fillers if you look over there. Just passing it along.
I hope you get lots of people who want to join you in this way. I love the idea of it, really I do!

Thanks for the tip! I looked at DeviantArt's Photography/People section and didn't find anything usable. It's an art site, so most of the poses are way more dramatic than I can use, or they think it's artistic to cut off the top of the person's head or something. They look cool, but they're not suitable for game characters.etainne said:
