I'd like an extra camera option

I'd like an extra camera option

Maybe it's just me, but having a camera close to the character is great for extra immersion. Most of the time the camera is a bit too far away from Geralt. But just now i was walking in Novigrad and i was overburdened and the camera automatically is more close behind Geralt's back. I'd like a second camera option to have the camera exactly like that when walking/running.

Heck yeah - actually, give us a full zoom spectrum like Skyrim. No reason not to, and it really does add so much to immersion. It'll be modded in before long, but that's also something CDPR would do well to include in the enhanced edition.

And while they're add it, maybe give us the option to disable that horrid smudging effect that "witcher vision" causes. Be nice to actually see the item you're supposedly focusing on.

I think there is already a mod on the Nexus website to do that already.

Oh yea. Was thinking why Witcher 3 world doesn't look more detailed than Skyrim to me and came up with idea that camera matters a lot. So +1 to this.
Would be nice to have a close overshoulder camera when not running.
Hey, CDPR, this is an easy thing to add to the game, i'm sure it is. Please give us some response. ;D

+1 For the time being I'm using the FOV Hack, but it would be nice if they could give us a proper closer camera view.
The problem with FOV hack is when you approach the camera to the same level as the overburdened camera it changes the view distance of normal dialogues. For some reason it gets more far away lol. Please CDPR, add a proper nearer camera, the game have such nice details to be observed from a nearer distance.

Totally agree. The overburdened camera position is the best for immersion, and you can also see all the details of your sword. I would love to be able to play with that camera position, maybe also with the posibility to switch shoulder by pressing a button.

I was just thinking about this as i was playing. I thought a zoomable camera was kind of standard in games now-a-days :(
I would like to go into 1st person view inside buildings with tons of lootables and for latters etc.

Haha nice to see these replies. Did not really expect that. I hope CDPD sees this and decides to add it into the game, all three versions. I fully agree about the Skyrim camera. Bethesda may not yet have nailed the 3rd person camera during fighting and movement, but the free camera is awesome. And yes again agreed, because you are in firsf person or really close with the camera in Skyrim, the gameworld's details can be seen much easier.

Well, this feature is really easy to add to the game unlike many other things people ask... So i think they might bother about it if we keep asking good enough. ;)

This feature has been requested multiple times by users throughout the development process. Many, including myself want the close camera option that is present in the trailers.

Can't wait till the close camera mod eventually comes out. It will make everything look bigger/grander as opposed to the current camera, and we'll be able to see more of the detail.

Indeed. That's what I'm talking about. Huge world of Witcher 3 looks small because of camera placement. :(
