Ideas for better Artifact system

Hello,

many time when you encounter with a game when your opponent has full artifact deck
ok you may have 1 or 2 artifact removals, despite many decks don't have but even if you do you'll find yourself destroying all your combo cards without having a chance to do something.

yeah, sometimes you can win but even, this will be really boring match with lots of no sense.
I think of many ideas for making Artifacts fair and enjoing.

1- Requirements ( lots of unit cards even golden cards that have damage on cool down have either long cool down or requrement)
examples of requirements that can be linked to Spear:
- everyturn on turn start ( if you have a human unit on the battle field- refresh Spear ability )
you can change "human type into another one or add multi types or even something similar "
so both sides will have strategies to do.

- also you can also make spear cool down (every 3 turns )
and everytime you play a unit from x type it will reduce cooldown by 1 or 2
so this also will make spear fair compared to units that have similar ability and with risk to be destroyed and additional requirements

-about some artifacts with charges you can add a cooldown :: example for thunderbolt (you'll have 3 turns cool down ) after this cooldown ends the card will destroy itself

2- we've bronze cards and golden cards

I think at least we have to define Artifacts differently and adding a limit of number of artifacts you can add to your deck is also a valid option
also different Leaders can have different maximum number of artifacts will add some spice to the leaders.

3- Shield
I saw that shield is not implemented on Gwent
but in reality I think it will be nice to add high amount of sheild on artifacts
so there is a chance to remove it even if you don't have artifact removal. and removing an artifact will waste amount of damage as shield is not counted in the round points of both sides.



there are many other ideas but those what I can recall now... and I sorry that my English not that good and let me explain if there is something not clear xD
 
Those are some interesting suggestion. However...

In the latest dev stream, the devs already announced that certain artifacts will only get a charge when you play a unit. As for your other suggestions, they have been suggested before in various thread.
