If CDPR are going to do a third Expansion in which location would you like it to be set in?

So...which location? Multiple choices are allowed.

Kovir and Poviss

The realm of Kovir and Poviss is a Norther kindom located on the Gulf of Praxeda. It is the largest exporter of mineral resources in the known world, reaping huge profits from commercial trade. It is ruled by King Esterad Thyssen of the House of Thyssen and maintained political neutrality during the Nilfgaard wars. For many years, the kingdom was the butt of jokes among its southern neighbours. But those neighbouring nations eventually found to their dismay that Kovir was not the backwater they took it to be and had built itself into a nation to be reckoned with by welcoming the many disaffected scholars, soldiers and business men who sought a new, and better life to the north. People of Kovir derives from outlaws, risk-averse merchants, geologists, miners and underestimated scientists and technicians who believed in the possibility of building a machine of their own invention. They gravitated to Kovir for some assurance of autonomy from the larger kingdoms to the south who coveted their resources. Because it is so mountainous, the region is rich in mines. Kovir and Poviss export glass, salt, iron ore, silver, nickel, lead, tin, zinc, copper, chromium, titanium, tungsten and platinum. Not to mention three quarters of the world's ferroaurum, kryobelitium and dimeritium and 80% of the world's gold.

Redania

One of the major Northern Kindoms, Reania is a wealthy realm that profits from trade and agriculture. Its capital city is Tretogor. Oxenfurt, with the largest university in the North, and the free city of Novigrad are also located in Redania. The kingdom's neighbours are Kovir, Caingorn, Kaedwen, Aedirn and Temeria. For ages, Redania has fought a customs war with Temeria, its primary rival in the North. The country possesses the strongest intelligence network in the world and its government is also heavily influenced by sorceresses. King Vizimir II was assasinated during the second Nilfgaardian War. During the interregnum, the country was ruled by a Regency Council headed by Sigismund Dijkstra, the head of Redanian Intelligence.

Temeria

The kingdom of Temeria lies south of the river Pontar. Its neighbors are Redania, Kerack, Kaedwen, Aedirn, Mahakam, Lower Sodden, Brokilon Forest and Cidaris. One of the fiefdoms of Temeria is the dukedom of Ellander and the magical Thanedd Island, with a school for young female adepts of magic located off the kingdom's western shores. Temeria is second only to Kaedwen among the strongest of the Northern Kindoms and played a key role in the war against Nilfgaard. Temeria is ruled by King Foltest and its capital is Vizima.

Kaedwen

Kaedwen, is the largest of the Northern Kindoms (and the one of largest countries in the world, second to Nilfgaard). Its main cities are its capital, Ard Carraigh, and the city of Ban Ard, famous for its sorcery school. Known for its cold and unforgiving climate, along with the many forests within its borders, its name may come from the Elder Speech, slightly corrupted: Caedwen or White Forest. Henselt, its king, quarrels frequently with neighbouring Aedirn, mostly over the ownership of the Pontar Valley which once belonged to the Kaedweni. Kaedwen also shares borders with the kingdoms of Redania and Caingorn; and portions of the Fiery Mountains, the Kestrel Mountains and the Blue Mountains run through the kingdom. The witchers' fortress of Kaer Morhen is located amidst the peaks of the Blue Mountains, and further south lies the land of the Free Elves, an enclave established by elves seeking refuge from centuries of warring with humans.

Aedirn

Aedirn is one of the Northern kindoms. Its neighbours are Kaedwen, Redania, Temeria, Mahakam, Lyria and Rivia Its eastern border are the Blue Mountains. Dol Blathanna, the Valley of Flowers, ruled by elven sorceress Francesca Findabair is located within Aedirn. The capital city of Aedirn is Vengerberg, the home of famous sorceress Yennefer. The king of Aedirn is Demavend.

Cintra

Cintra is one of the Northern Kindoms, located south of Sodden, Riverdell and the great river Yaruga. Cintra was a powerful state during the reign of queen Calanthe, but was conquered by Nilfgaard during the first Nilfgaardian War. After the second Nilfgaardian War, the kingdom became a nominal independent state, actually ruled by Nilfgaard's Imperator Emhyr var Emreis through his marriage to Empress Cirilla. Cintra's neighbours are Sodden, Brugge and the Nilfgaard province of Nazair. When Emhyr var Emreis proclaimed Cirilla queen, he also named her princess of Brugge, duchess of Sodden, heir of Skellige and sovereign of Attre and Abb Yarra.

Lyria and Rivia

The kingdom of Lyria and Rivia is a northern realm, located north of the river Yruga, ruled by Queen Meve. The kingdom's neighbors are Mahakam, Aedirn and Angren. One July, during the second Nilfgaardian War, the Empire invaded and conquered Lyria and Rivia without any formal declaration of war. It was, however, liberated during later phases of the war. It should also be noted, though the witcher Geralt originally used the title 'of Rivia' because it amused him, he was formally knighted by Meve and given the title 'of Rivia' after the Battle for the Bridge on the Yaruga.

Nilfgaardian Empire

The Empire of Nilfgaard is the most powerful realm in the history of the known world. Located in the southern part of the Continent, it boasts a thriving economy and strong, well-trained armies with talented commanders. Although populations of the North refer to all followers of the Empire as Nilfgaardians, the Empire's inhabitants believe that the "real" Nilfgaardians are those born in the heart of the Empire, and not those from conquered provinces. Northerners also pejoratively refer to members of its military as Black Ones. Its state religion is the cult of the Great Sun.The Empire's provinces are ruled either by stewards from native Nilfgaard or kings (having willingly surrendered) who retain their throne and pledge allegiance to the Emperor. It has expanded aggressively throughout the centuries, subjugating the principalities and kingdoms of Ymlac, Vicovaro, Rowan, Etolia, gemmera, Maecht, Ebbing, Geso, Metinna, and Nazair. During the first Northern War, it conquered Cintra and the duchy of Attre. By the time of Imperator Emhyr var Emreis' reign, its borders had reached the Yaruga river. In the Witcher saga, the Empire is portrayed as an overarching antagonist, with many free peoples of the North expressing hatred towards it with passion. It is introduced in Blood of Elves, when it invades Cintra. Nilfgaard draws many parallels with the real world Roman Empire: an expansionist realm with disciplined armies that practiced slavery, whose subjects held sentiments of cultural superiority.

Dol Blathanna

Dol Blathanna (in Elder Speech meaning the Valley of Flowers), is neighbour to Aedirn and Kaedwen. It belonged to the elves for ages, until humans arrived and laid claim to the land about one hundred years ago, forcing the elves to flee to the mountains. The region was ruled by Filavandrel aen Fidhail, but the elves struggled to survive as they had no knowledge of agriculture; among them was Toruviel. After Nilgaard invaded the Northeren Kindoms, Imperator Emhyr var Emreis gave Dol Blathanna to the elves who had aided his cause. He also made Enid an Gleanna the queen of the new elven state, though she still consulted with Filavandrel. After the Peace of Cintra, Enid an Gleanna was forced to swear fealty to Demavend of Aedirn, reorganizing it into an autonomous duchy.

Mahakam

Mahakam is an autonomous region and a mountain range between the kingdoms of Temeria, Aedirn, Lyria and Sodden, inhabited by dwarves, gnomes and bobolaks. It is the biggest known exporter of iron and steel to the Northern Kindoms and Nilfgaard and many mines, foundries, forges etc. are located there. Mahakam iron is famous for its quality and is considered to be the best in the world. Aside from its iron, Mahakam is famous for its weapons, forged using advanced gnomish technology. Formally, Mahakam is a fiefdom of Foltest, king of Temeria, but the Mahakam dwarves and gnomes maintain much independence, as any intervention would result in dwarves stopping the supply shipments and flooding the mines. The real authority in Mahakam is dwarven elder Brouver Hoog, who resides at Mount Carbon.

Zerrikiania

Zerrikania is a mysterious land located in the south-eastern part of the Continent. Its name is said to derive from a legendary golden dragon, Zerrikanterment. The Northern Kindoms have very little to do with that realm. Not a lot is known about Zerrikania: it is a matriarchy, its climate is hot, exotic animals (including tigers and antelopes) roam the land, and the inhabitants worship dragons. Zerrikania is famous for its tattooed warrior women, who are skilled in the use of sabres.

Brokilon
Brokilon is a primeval forest surrounded by the kingdoms of Cintra, Brugge, Sodden and Verden. It is inhabited by dryads, leprechauns and pucks and is very dangerous for humans, as dryads tend to shoot them without warning. They supported the Scoia'tael by allowing them to hide in Brokilon and healing the wounded fighters. The Brokilon dryads are led by Eithne, who lives in Duen Caell, at the centre of the forest. It is absolutely forbidden to bring fire into the forest; axes and other forms of harming trees are similarly discouraged. Brokilon is home to magical cures known as conynhaela and purple living bone.

Voted for Zerrikania, but my first choice would be Mahakam ;)

All of them :), but if i had to choose one definitely Zerrikania, and with as much as possible CDPR own characters.

Voted for Zerrikania and Dol Blathanna.Zerrikania seems like a very unique country and we don't know much about it.So CDPR have a total creative freedom with this place. And Dol Blathanna is a perfect opportunity to introduce Francesca and Isengrim. It would be cool to see Rivia and Lyria as well.

I would like to see a post game expansion which implements your choices and changes what the world looks like E.G if you didn't personally sign the North over to the filthy Black Ones then you see Redanian's all over the place celebrating the victory.

I would love if the expansion had Geralt and Blinky going down towards the front and seeing the remains of Cintra - It would also be the perfect time for a Geralt and Dandy adventure.. and while going through Vizima Dandy finally tells Geralt of Essi's death etc.

So much potential everywhere.

I'd like to see our choices better represented within the game world - It's a shame the post game wasn't made to mirror our choices, it would have made the post game more worth playing.

Funny thing - in the Witcheress ending, Dijkstra victory, Redanian soldiers in White Orchard still yell "Long live Radovid!"

Hmm.

Just from a speculation standpoint, I doubt they'd shout from the rooftops that Radovid was dead, might damage moral.
But it's probably just an oversite that wasn't deemed necessary to change for the 2 minutes that worldstate is in the game :x

Yes, an oversight obviously, though they did replaced Radovid's posters with Dijkstra's in that ending

Feeling challenge maps to be honest with Geralt and Ciri.

First one could be set in Novigrad sewers where Geralt has to take on a horde of drowners then in the next area of the sewers some devourers and ghouls and the boss could be that toad thing in HoS.

For Ciri it could take place in that forest where you found the pellar's goat and Ciri has to take on like 20 wolves, a pack of bears and as the boss maybe 2 ice elementals and a ice giant.

Rewards could be relic weapons and armor, load of crowns and some runestones for Geralt.

My top-5 list:

1-2.

Across the seas, in Ofir and Zangwebar, there are white horses withblack stripes. I've never seen those either, but I know that they exist.

So it would be nice to visit absolutely new regions.

3. Dol Blathanna

4. Zerrikania

5. Kovir

I know some well-known wet TW3 circumstances made a huge influence and it's just Kovir now but don't forget Poviss.

My vote for Cintra.
The place where it all started.

I would definitely love to see places like Dol Blathanna or Zerrikania in game but imo those are so specific places that they deserve much more room (ideally in a new game from witcher universe) then to be added just in expansion, made in hurry in a few months.
So I think that better option would be some more ordinary human area and Cintra seems most interesting for me.

Zerrikania or some high level quests in Kovir/Dragon Mountains.

The Witcher world is soo big, I just wish CD Projekt keeps updating the game with new areas.

None. The game absolutely does not need any more "room"...give us more emergent game play, extended epilogue, more active skills added, more enemy types and AI enhancements/variations to existing ones, more quests aded, more unique and set items, etc.

You've got a point, there's surely enough space in the actual game, with some areas which need more immersion. But adding some very unique/interesting places could add something to the game anyway, so I voted Kovir, Dol Blathanna and Nilfgaard.

I agree with @BoboTheMighty, I don't think TW3 needs another expansion. Two is a good number.
But I voted for Cintra. Strong hesitation with Kovir so I voted for it too.
I would also love to visit Ellander and Brokilone and, ... well everywhere.
