Dol Blathana. I liked the short story from the Last Wish book. I liked Chapter 4 of the Witcher 1. And Dol Blathana is the perfect place to indulge those needs. Imagine an adventure consisting of Geralt, Dandelion, Zoltan, and Regis (pls let him be alive)... attending a wedding or something similar. No sorceresses invited. Just Geralt and his crew only adventure.

Dol Blathanna all the way! Loved the place since i read the "The Last Wish" and i would like to see an adventure involving it in TW3.

While you brought up Regis. Flashback to Geralt journey to Nilfgaard with his hansa would not be bad. Geralt and Cahir fistfighting being ended by furious Milwa beating them both to pulps with belt would be awesome.

The Witcher Zerrikania?

So this is my first ever post on these forums so I don't know if people have suggested this in the past or not, but I would reeaaally love to see a spin-off game based on Zerrikania. Now I love medieval Europe and Vampires and all that but as an Iranian I think the western Asian(or middle eastern, as many call it these days) legends have a massive potential for a role playing game like the Witcher series, imagine an open world RPG game based on the desert with all kind of Jins and Ghouls lurking around at nights, or sand drawners from the Arabic legends or the Patiare(Persian version of succubus) and even ejdeha(dragons) etc. Now I know that the atmosphere will be pretty strange and unfamiliar for western gamers just like the medieval fantasies were for us before all these games based on medieval Europe flooded the gaming market. Now add Arabic and Persian voice packs and I promise you, people here would pay hundred of dollars to play it. I also think that it would be a nice break from the usual western fantasies for you guys. Now I know that racism is a big part of what immersed us all into the Witcher series so I think our character should be a mutant just like Geralt. the designers can come up with new Witcher schools like the school of scorpion or camel or whatnot which our character is a member of ,or perhaps a new humanoid race that can only be found in Zerrikania. We may use camels and horses as mounts and most importantly, Persian horse archers adding new mechanics to the game.
Please let me know of what you think about this.

i find the idea really interesting and i like it a lot, though rather than a whole new game i think it woud be really nice to add it as an expansion for the wild hunt and see how geralt manages on the distant barren lands.

*A great offer for escorting a merchant caravan woud end up with everything going downhill. Now far away from the northern kingdoms and in a land plagued with monsters geralt will need to put in use all his skills and knowlege to sruvive and make it home.*

Very interesting details in your suggestion, @illidan1371 , and welcome to the Forums, by the way. As you can see, there've been a number of proposed locations, and Zerrikania is among the more popular.

How about inside Geralt's head?

Sort of a lengthy memory sequence where during a talk with Yen or someone else close to G ( like Witcher II prologue with Roche, minus the torture :p), he recollects his memories while he was a rider of the Hunt. This, added with more Eredin dialogue and improved final fight and some added appearances throughout the game, would go a long way to correct poor presence and characterization of the game's main antagonist(s).
It would also be very interesting to see Geralt in a completely opposite role we're used to and CDPR could really create some very unique environments and dramatic scenarios ( does Hunt raid other worlds?).
Also a great way to connect to the first game and make the whole series more cohesive...ending with a brief glimpse at the beginning of Witcher I. Ah guys, do you remember those early days and the good ol' Aurora engine? :p
Anyway...player could also slowly re-learn some version of a "frost magic" that Eredin teaches him through all of this...it would be a cool and immersive way to enhance signs repertoire.
And yes, I'm sure I've repeated this a dozen times, more game play enhancements should be your focus here, as well.

I wouldn't mind seeing locations from the books, like Nilfgaard and Cintra, but also Dol Blathanna.

Normally, I prefer to stick to my own imagination when it comes to books, but CDPR makers nice scenery, so it would be worth it.

dude, is this like an official poll?
is there even a possibility the third expansion will come out?
Sorry, but, no, like all polls on these Forums this is not official. It's a collection of hopes from players. Moreover, there isn't any official indication that a third expansion will ever materialise. This doesn't rule out the possibility, but, sadly, it's still rather unlikely. Speculation and wishful thinking continue to abound, though.

My fellow brethren...Let us talk of life after B&W expastion

This is one of your normal pleads to CDPR to continue with another Expansion after B&W. CDPR has clearly stated that they will support TW3 till 2017. I still am not aware if they mean @ the beginning of 2017 they will stop, or will they keep on to the end of 2017. While B&W is steer far away from release. I would like to open a discussion on why a 3rd & final expansion. As you will see in the below picture, there are plenty of places that could be used for a final expansion.

If you noticed, there is plenty of space for CDPR to expand to other areas. Take the next picture as an example:

As you can see the area that I have circled in green. This is all Redanian land. Clearly this could open up a whole story line in Redania. To the right Redania is Kedwain, which Kear Morhen is placed. This next picture is for the point to be made:

In the upper left corner of the game map, you can see part of Kovir, at least the structure which is Pont Vanis. A map of Kovir is next:

Pont Vanis is circled in red, while Lan Exeter is circled in blue.

My point for all of this is the following: CDPR has a lot of space to add more to the "World Map" in game, which I think should be utilized.
What has become of Redania since Radivid has been killed

Unfortunately, I do not think they left space on the map to add Aedrin which has Vingerburg as one of it's many villages. So people, what do you think? If they are to do a 3rd and final expansion, should they utilize the World map space? As far as a different post asking for a "Enhanced Edition" I want CDPR to kill the bugs is TH3 before a "Enhanced Edition"

I will add more comments to this thread after I wake up. But, I do think this should be talked about. Maybe a RED will see this thread and have a meeting about it, then start thinking of a 3rd expansion. It will help if you put in your comments on storyline, people we have yet to see in TW3, or ones that need a follow up (Priscilla!!!!)

Sorry, but I don't see the reasoning behind adding more to the game or post epilogue content, when it's core could use so much more refinement/improvement. The game is already one of the most massive titles on the market, what's the point of adding more and more to it? It's like adding level after level to a house standing on clay...extreme analogy here, but you get the point.

I think that after almost six months of user feedback most negative issues within this game can be summarized as:

Storytelling:

Undeveloped main antagonist(s) and their lack of presence in the game, mid level game pacing, lower quality of the third act and incomplete epilogue, lower quality of Skellige quest content( unnecessary smuggling caches), undeveloped character arcs( especially Yen/Ciri) and presence of the outcome of choices made throughout the series( Vergen, Adda, Anais, Iorweth, etc), Reasons of State quest and it's effects on the world, etc

Gameplay:

Enemy AI, variety and their aggro radius, skill balance and lack of difficulty through mid-later portion of the game, few active skills and little complexity in combat mechanics, poor character progression through disorganized and unimaginative skill trees, cluttered crafting system with either overpowered or useless gear, unrewarding loot/xp system, MMO enemy level mechanics and poor itemization, clumsy soft lock targetting etc.

Misc:

Unbalanced game economy, poor crime system, Roche AI and controls still need improvement, more density in world space in terms of npc/monster encounters and ruins/unique locations, more world interaction, inventory improvements, etc...

I love this game, despite all the flaws... but if by some chance CDPR decides to make a Dlc/Enhanced edition that aims to improve on half of these things, it would benefit the game far more than adding a whole damn continent to existing world.

Very nice effort, @DontBlnkBadWolf , but we already have a thread for suggesting and discussing possible locations for potential expansions. Based upon what you've posted, this very much looks like the place for it. If the REDs wish to read any of the many suggestions which have been offered so far, this is a convenient, centralised spot. This isn't to say your suggestion is in any way less valid, or inferior, but, for reasons of organisation, it's far easier to group similar proposals together.

Kovir, together with Triss in her beautyful house (or maybe just a friend of Triss depending on relationship decisions). And slaying some left-out Witcher 1 & 2 monsters like the Kayran and getting rid of an Oblivion-like-designed zombies infestation for Triss and her King...... :)
Everything could be made like the second or third Act of Diablo 2.
Yes that would be awesome really really awesome!

Kovir leads for obvious reasons  Now I almost regret adding it to the poll.

It makes the poll biased if you remove an option that many would vote on, just because you do not agree with them. Although it may be worth noting that a hypothetical third expansion could very well not include any main NPCs.
