Hi [cyberpunk],

I’m excited to share a project concept titled "The Chronos Glitch," which explores a new narrative and gameplay layer for V's story.

The Concept
In the late stages of V’s deterioration, the Relic begins fracturing time itself. V starts seeing a "Ghost Clock"—an ancient analog grandfather clock—appearing in incongruous locations like the Afterlife or Dogtown. Touching this clock triggers a "Temporal Rewind," pulling V into a "Memory Mission." While V retains all current cyberware, weapons, and levels, changing a single dialogue choice or action ripples forward, permanently altering the present timeline.

The "New Reality" Rules

- The Numbers Curse: After tampering with the past, the Relic stabilizes and V’s health improves, but the world begins to "bleed." Digital hex code floats over people and buildings, revealing the world as a simulation V has manipulated.
- The Butterfly Effect: Saving a character from the original run may cause another to disappear or result in a different gang taking control of a district.

Sample Scene: The Graveyard Ghost
The scene takes place at the North Oak Oil Fields in heavy rain and digital static. As Johnny Silverhand questions his legacy, a massive wooden clock appears in the smog. V reaches out, touching the glass as the world freezes and the environment shifts into neon green code. V chooses a new, previously non-existent dialogue option—a string of encrypted data—to change the timeline.

The Shift
V wakes up in the H10 apartment, fully recovered from the Relic’s physical toll. However, looking out at Night City, the skyscrapers are now covered in falling green code. V is sane, but the world is now a lie of their own making.

Best re
gards,

Taven Wice
