Did you already try this?
  • Allow Cyberpunk in Windows Defender by setting an Exception for Data Execution Prevention
  • Verify game files via GOG or Steam

  • Allow Cyberpunk in Windows Defender by setting an Exception for Data Execution Prevention
  • Verify game files via GOG or Steam

1. Windows Defender completely disabled
2. Yes, game files verified

Hm... Maybe take a look at your GPU specs by using GPU-Z

It seem to be quite recent (or at least players don't post it here before...)
Maybe "Drivers related". In any case, it seem to only affect AMD GPU.
Maybe try to back on the previous drivers (Just a guess without any certainty)

Reinstall driver to 21.10.2 from 21.12.1, and now everything good!

GPU : AMD Radeon RX570.
CPU :AMD Ryzen 3 2300X

Had a recent update (this week)

I have the same issue on NPCs and character creation after the last patches.

In game on my save with diferent npcs as calling them on the phone ( tested on Panam & Delamain).

Cyberpunk2077_problemeTexture (1).jpg

In the Character creation screen: man apears dark and woman apears without any texture (tested whith normal difficulty slot and hard difficulty slot).

Cyberpunk2077_problemeTexture (2).jpg

In the character's details screen with both woman and man, whatever the way you turn the face.

So you will try to back to a previous drivers version like @iskander94x did ?

Hello !
Up for this thread.... In case some of us were wandering how is happening about the light...
Hope i 've "enlighted "you on this. lul

illumination issues AGAIN after the last patch on AMD GPU.....

Ibegin to feel a little bit tired about this....

They still work on it... according to the last edited post "issues under investigation".
(I also have the impression that AMD is maybe not really invested to fix it...)

I just have a upgrade of my driver today...

I understand, me too
From my point of view, the problem come from AMD Drivers themself (the issue appear in November if I remember, so almost 5 months after the previous Cyberpunk update). All worked fine in 1.31, before this AMD Drivers update in november :(

So it's fixed ?
I see that in the AMD Drivers "fixed issue" the very last one (22.3.2 - Optional) released today :)
Fixed Issues
  • While playing Cyberpunk 2077™ on some AMD Graphics Products such as Radeon™ RX 570 Graphics, some users may observe an issue where indoor areas appear darker than expected.

Yep i think it was it.

i had an update yesturday and i found another when i checked just before. I reboot my PC and the game. i didn't work.
And the driver manager told me there was another one ( the last fix i suppose ) so i did it all again and it was ok.

Ok nice :)

Currently playing all games on my Vega 11. The Radeon 5700 was sold for a good price after learning that raytracing will never get enabled on the Radeon5000 series.
Cyberpunk runs absolutely superb - but there are some illumination issues (everything is on medium to ultra, it´s not the most powerful graphics chip out there so no maxed-out settings, and of course I cannot activate raytracing on an AMD Vega 11 as long as I haven´t found a GeForce 3060 for a good price).

Make sure to have the lastest version of drivers (maybe also make a clean reinstall).
