Im a bit confused about the free DLC

Good morning all. So i finally activated the Free DLC jackets that we get. What I dont understand is that they arent glamors or cosmetics that we put over what we are wearing. Is there any way we can put them in the spcial slot so that I dont have to replace my GOOD armor that Im wearing for some weak jacket with way less defense and stats?????

I dont understand why projectred didnt make they special cloths.

You're asking about transmog? There's no such system in this game.

I not played now CP for some time, but Im almost sure that there are blueprints for these clothes so you can upgrade them up to legendary if have perks and enough points in tech (18 needed for making legendary stuff)

As iconic item (clothes), if you have the required skill (18), you can upgrade them to legendary, so with four mod slots (the max possible for "torso" clothes).
And also upgrade them to max level (lvl 50 and no skill is required for that), so 200 armor value (the max possible).

In short, for both, at max > 200 armor value and four mod slots. It's the best stats/slots for clothes in the game
