I'm done playing till Anti Weather cards are out

It is the fad deck of the month. Hopefully, long-term Gwent does not revolve around 1, to maybe 2, fad decks/strategy's ad nauseam.

You need to farm those Monster decks. Just back sure you have some cards to buff through the weather or put in the D-Bomb. If you play Skellige with Discards/spies, you pretty much run through your entire deck (because mulliganned cards go to the bottom of the deck), meaning that you will always find the Dbomb. I have high winrate vs Monsters as Skellige:

Here are the steps:
Round 1:
- Play hard to win the round, and try to make them use up a lot of weather cards.
- If they are not giving up and playing a lot of cards, you are allowed to use DBOMB this round. But most of the time I want to win this round.

Round 2:
- Play the spies and ciri this round. Just need to leave 1 or 2 resurrect cards and DBOMB (if not used first round)

Round 3:
- Play resurrect cards and then DBOMB.

There really is a problem with the weather decks right now.You need to total prepare agains it our lose hard.
I can win easy with my elves. They do dmg and dont have much streng anyway to dont care about weather. Also i can play them at any lane i want.

A clear sky or a D bomb isnt helping you again monster weather deck. They got soo many weather effeckts and monster cards they simply play a other weather after you used your clear sky or D bomb. And if you try safe the card, they simply kill your weaken chards with wildhunt or that other guy that summon 3 monster and deal 3 dmg.

We kinda need a counter. Like...clear sky ban weather and this round you cant play weather anymore or something.....no idea if its balance but ... something.

It's just crazy how many weather cards the devs put in this game, how well they work with monsters, and how they stuck weather effects on monster cards.

Seriously, 10 matches and 9 of them are facing monster deck with weather tactical

You did not deserve the beta invite then, youre lucky you got into the beta. Play to test the game, provide constructive feedback. Simply saying you quit because you dont like how weather cards work isnt helping them.

I always have clear weather cards on my decks. I just chance discard tham at the start when anything other than monster.. Its kills the "mood" just a little bit, always be on the lookout for weather/monster decks. But when you do get to use clear weather, sometimes twice agains weather deck, it usually completely ruins the game for the other guy..

Skellige have a unit for each row thatbis immune to weather. NR can promote right through it. Scoitell is a bit trickier but thw can have double D bomb or skies in the deck because of natures gift. There are a few ways around it.

Yeah but D-Bomb is often not ideal for Scoia because many players depend on buffing their units. Besides Clear sky too doesn't recover buffs, that's probably one reason why many players are struggling.

If you don't depend on buffed up units then yeah, d-bomb and clear sky are valid choices. With Skellige I always have d-Bomb in my deck. I wouldn't generalize this issue. Im reality it's often not that easy to handle.

Well you can beat monster deck with other control deck quite easily, by that I mean deck that play more specials like Thunder and Lacerate than actual units. Especially my NR golden control beats monster weather quite easily, thought it struggles with some other decks. And I have about 50 / 50 against monster weather with my elf swarm, even thought that deck is build around buffing other units.

True is Clear Sky does not cut it for most decks. It is too narrow card that is dead in two third of games and even against weather deck is just OK. DBomb is currently best answer if you did not rely to much on buffing your units.

I think we need some neutral card like Archgriffin, which is at least somewhat playable even against deck without weather. But I will be careful with cards like silver Clear Sky that resets weather and return units to previously buffed status. Or did we really want metagame where everybody runs NR adrenaline rush deck with Dandelion and Command Horn and games will be decided by who draws more buffs? I think we need cards like Aeromancy to be good to keep in check decks that go too crazy on buffing single row.
