I'm losing hope - new patch.

Because of the new patch we can see the direction of changes and sadly it doesnt look nice.
1. Problems with interface for PC werent even addressed which means they totally dont care about PC and they are focused on consoles.
2. They balanced according to "new players experience" which means they aim for low skill cap.
3. Not a word about changing terrible structure which means they are happy with actual one.
4. More and more. They basically tweaked some cards mechanics and thats all. Does the final game will be really as terrible as actual beta(im talking about everything besides actual live game)?

Yup, I also don't get this doomsday talk.
It's still Beta... and it's the first patch and I'm sure not the last one.

Devs have said there is a lot more content to be introduced, including new cards, new synergies, new counters, campaign modes, etc. We're not even a month in to the beta, so jumping to conclusions about any perceived directions the patches or devs are taking is quite premature.

Your comments aren't very specific in terms of the issues. What thing in the PC interface bothers you? Balancing for new players doesn't necessarily mean aiming for low skill cap. But again, what balance changes specifically are you talking about here? What's "terrible structure"? And yes, they tweaked some things in the FIRST patch. Were you expecting everything overhauled in the FIRST beta patch?

The thing is first patches bring the biggest changes. Later we see less and less. If CDPR want to make big changes now is time for that but they do nothing like that so it looks like they dont want to make major changes. Premiere early 2017 is just in 2-3 months so not so much time left.

They did cosmetic changes in structure so they have touched it so looks like they polish actual structure instead of improving it.

What do you mean by "improving actual structure"? What do you want to see specifically?

1. I personally dont have a problem with the interface on PC.

2. The most successful and competitive videogame in the world (LoL) balances for all skill levels. Dont see why trying to balance for all levels of play is a problem when there are plenty of instances where it hasnt been a problem in the past for lots of games.

3. Dont even know what this means.

4. Again, dont' know what your expecting here.

I disagree. They are planning to add a lot of new content in the future. Your expecting way to much from a beta patch. Also, it's a card game, a lot of the patches will have to do with...cards. If you want people to stick around they need to feel like they can do something even as a new player so changing things to make it better for new players is never a bad thing. Not sure why you are so upset about the interface? Seems fine to me.

It's kinda funny and sad how you talk like everyone agrees with you, makor86 . You talk like your complaints are absolute and, if YOU are not happy, it needs to change.

I personally like the PC interface, but I'm always open to improvements, of course.

From where I'm standing, complaining about the game being balanced for all players, including the new ones, is just ridiculous. Why should the devs do not care about such a big part of the members of the community. It doesn't make any sense.

You are always allowed to give suggestions and it would make it easier for everyone if those were more clear and specific.

BUT remember...

You, as a single person that is not a legitimate representative of an entire group of players, are in a position to only SUGGEST changes, you are not in a position to demand.

Saying things like
"Does the final game will be really as terrible as actual beta(im talking about everything besides actual live game)?"
doesn't help anyone, it's just disrespectful and makes you look like a "drama queen", as andytenshi said.

I think the new patch mainly balance factions and fix bugs. Maybe your "wrong direction" is nerfing your current overpowered deck build? :)

I just think you are pretty much overreacting :)

I agree with everything the other posters have said, but apart from that, we will be in closed beta until spring, that's almost four months and not 2-3.

Perhaps you could phrase things in a more constructive manner.

Also we care a great deal about PC, there was a bug that slipped through that made the carousel a bit clunky. It will be addressed in our next patch.

Also the majority of balance changes were made to address play at the highest MMR levels. The monster faction change and leader price change was made to address new players, but I don't think that's a bad thing. The more people that enjoy and stay with the game, the healthier the population of it will be.

They even fail at this. In this new patch I play with a new deck which is like basic deck. I lack many good cards and Im getting destroyed in 9/10 games. Before with max out deck I was winning ~80% of games. It is still terrible for new players. There is no way they will make it good for noobs in actual structure(modes).

Actually the most competitive and best balanced on all levels was SC:BW but it was 1v1. About multi you could be right. Also CS:GO. The think why those games are noob friendly is the fact everyone has access to the same things. In gwent you need to spend huge money or play for weeks to complete 1 proper deck. The structure make it impossible to balance. Gwent has the worst structure ive ever seen.

Just to make sure I understood this correctly. You were playing with a maxed out deck and a winrate of around 80% before the patch hit and now you're playing with a basic deck on the same account and wondering why you're getting destroyed? A new player won't go into the game with your MMR from before the patch, meaning you can't possibly compare your situation to that of a beginner.

^This. Also with regards for other ways to progress. Remember that with release will be single player campagins that will be 10+ hours each and include card rewards.

Gwent, which is free-to-play and will launch on PC, Xbox One, and PS4, is more than just a competitive card game. It’s going to have a full-fledged single-player mode. There will be several campaigns—each 10+ hours, the developers say—with top-down maps and even optional areas to explore. Your main character, who will vary depending on the story, will make decisions ranging from menial to significant, in true Witcher style.
During a short demo of Gwent at an E3 presentation this afternoon, CD Projekt Red showed off an early section of this new campaign. The premise: Geralt is working as an escort for a group of mercenaries, and they find that one of their men has been slaughtered, apparently by a demon. After some dialogue, they go off into the world, which is a simple cel-shaded map with a top-down 2D perspective. In the demo, Geralt and crew decided to ignore the main path and instead explore a nearby ruin, where they’re rewarded with a card that they can use in future battles.
