I'm still confused about Dex and Nakamura

+
1) After The Heist, when Dex asks you if you got the chip, he's relieved if you say you fail, and dismayed if you say that you succeeded. WHY?

2) How do Dex and Nakamura know each other? What did Nakamura want Dex to do? Why did Nakamura kill Dex?

3) Why does Nakamura smack you unconscious right before saying he needs your help?

This whole intermission is BS.

Dex does not longer want to be involved... Every one involved in the heist is as good as dead and even more the one who have the chip.

They didn't know each others. But it's not very difficult for Goro (Takemura) who is still in Arasaka at this moment, to find a dude, a fixer obviously, which want to leave Night City as fast as possible by the space station... Space station located in the Asaraka sea front :D

Goro simply "asked" to Dex where V was... Then when they found V, Dex is no longer useful and suffers the same fate as all the Arasaka enemies, he die.
3) Why does Nakamura smack you unconscious right before saying he needs your help?
Goro "simply" slap you if you say something (three choices, two options or let the timer pass). If you say nothing, he does nothing. V pass out (by erself) due to her injuries... Then he need V's help because Arasaka assassins want to kill both of them, following Yorinobu orders.

Hard time to follow the story ?

So @LeKill3rFou did a pretty good job explaining it but to add just a little.

Dex want's to disappear he's afraid of Arasaka and wants as much distance as possible from both the corp and the chip, that's why he leaves it in V's head and does not try to recover it, he sees it as toxic.

Takemura is the number one Saka agent, It's never expressly said, but my guess is he started working his way through the city's fixer, got to Dex pretty quickly and Dex tried to make a deal. Once Takemura gets what he needs Dex is expendable so he kills him (He may even have been ordered to).

Takemura "Captures" V to investigate the murder of Saburo Arasaka, assuming they are a suspect but probably wants more info, and only slaps them if they try to speak, somewhere in between when V blacks out and Goro wakes them up Arasaka turns off his implants and sends assassins after him. This is probably because he calls Yorinobu to report he has V, and Yori doesn't want any witnesses around, so he tries to have them both killed to make any evidence he killed his father go away. Also, Goro was loyal to the old man so that makes him a potential threat.

For that matter, how does Goro know that V is involved at all? All he should know at this point is that the old man is dead and his son probably did it. Nobody but Dex and V should even know that there was a chip heist at all.

Goro doesn't know at first...
After the heist and its "fail" (which was a pretty big and risky job, most likely organized bu a fixer), people involved more likely wanted to leave the city as fast as possible. Goro and Arasaka most likely watched the borders or any other means of leaving the city, including space shuttles (If you didn't go right away in the bathroom to wash your hands and your face, you can hear Dex ordering "one seat" in a space shuttle^^).
Dex ordered a seat on a shuttle which is in an area totally under Arasaka control... So smart :D

There can't be a lot of fixers looking to leave Night City discreetly, especially soon after the heist and who ordering the same day... Then Dex just say everything to Goro, thinking Goro will spare in fat ass.

Yorinobu is well aware that he does no longer have the Relic... And smasher saw Jackie and V while leaving the Konpeki in the Delamain... Goro just did what Yorinobu ordered, find those who "kill his father". That's exactly what he did.

Edit : A "detail" that I forgot to point out but which is important :)
T-Bug most likely been Soulkilled and been stored as an engram in Mikoshi. So with T-Bug engram, Yorinobu probably have all the infos about the heist. But he say only what he want to Goro who is a good soldier and do whatever Arasaka-sama order :D

Goro doesn't necessarily know that V is involved, what he likely knows is that 2 mercs shot their way out of Konpeki Plaza minutes after the death of Saburo.

Knowing that mercs could have been involved would lead him to look into the cities biggest fixers, which could have lead him to Dex, and then Dex was trying to make a deal.

Also Araska is arguably the most powerful entity on the planet more so than most governments. Mobilizing quickly and having informants and intel within 24 hours is normal operating for them. It's not a huge jump from shoot out, to security footage, to dex. They got to T-BUG early on, if they hacked her and had her ID, tracking known associates would be very easy for them.

What about the driving scene with V and Goro. Suddenly he is hurt and needs help, wonder what happened

It's Troy and Arasaka exterminators, who want to kill V and Goro.
After receiving the call from Goro in the landfield (that he find V and come back to Arasaka HQ), Yorinobu sent Troy and the exterminators to kill V and Goro (two birds with one stone). Perfect for Yorinobu if both "vanish".

Ah, yes, "Nakamura", one of Takemura's many alter-egos. Not as fun as Hideshi on a Sunday night though... :coolstory:

I don't think Goro is actually hurt.... I think he's feeling the effects of all of his implants being turned off at once. Much like what Happens to V in the intro if you play Corpo.

V almost completely passes out from that, and V in the Corpo intro is not nearly as chromed out as goro is, so my guess is he's barely able to hold it together when they get turned off. But to be fair since they never explicitly say it, he may also have a few minor injuries before V is fully conscious.
