Gopher is great...He made some fantastic New Vegas mods...And I am sure he will add more features to this...

Agreed. He's an absolute legend. Loved his TES stuff. It's not just the content though, his service to consumers and whatnot is second to none, ensuring everyone gets the most out of supported games.

Unfortunately I seem to be the only one who cannot get this mod to work. I always get the "script compilation error" when starting the game (steam):

Try installing the mod manually and then launch the game from your Witcher folder and not thru steam.
You can do this coss it doesnt need steam to run, I just dont know where your exe is located on steam installation - have the game on gog,
but i bet you find it.

Hope this helps.


Btw, could you give a feedback if it works, coss a lot of people on nexus seams to have a same problem
- only steam users it seams.

For people getting compilation errors when using the mod: Right now my current theory is that the mod is not the problem. It seems the game itself is the problem and it seems it has something to do with one of the updates. If true this means people who did not get that particular update are fine, but those that did will haver errors when using ANY scripted mod (If I am right).

However there is a fix for those people .... and you wont like it: Delete the game files and re-install/verify files. I just did a fresh install and everything works fine now. Sorry it is not better news, but there it is. The other option is to wait for it to get fixed in an official patch and just avoid all script mods for now

And no, aljo, your suggestion didn't solve the problem. Oh well, I guess I have to live without the mod for now.

Works fine for me on steam. Maybe verify the steam game cache ?

Are you running any "content0" mods? I'm guessing that it prefers a "clean" game install, with patches and dlc as described in their metafiles, not hacked about to change behaviours but not tidied up coherently.

Can confirm this works with Steam version.

Only thing I have installed is ReShade v.0.19.0.891 for debanding. I had the Superior Thunderbolt fix installed (which modifies the bundle file from patch0), but since I'm level 30, just decided I didn't need to use TBolt anymore, so I uninstalled it and destroyed the potion a few days ago.

@Lieste's suggestion above seems likely.

It works now for steam because it seems steam released a 3rd update yesterday that fixed the issues with the first broken update + 2nd updated that cancelled the first one.
