Important Question for the developers SPOILERS
Dear Developers
I have a very important question to ask in regards to the threesome scene in the game, the one that happens if you romance both Triss and Yennefer .
First off I myself did it because I’m relatively familiar with the book lore and have played both The Witcher 1 and 2 multiple times ever since they came out, therefore having Geralt choose between one sorceress or the other is literally an impossible choice for me to make, adding up to this problem are the incredibly well written and executed dialogue and cutscenes (one has the impression of being in a movie).
So when the threesome kicked in, I was left confused since the sorceresses never specifically say that they’re finished with Geralt, nevertheless I was left with this impression until the Sunstone quest where the dialogue between Philippa Eilhart and the witcher seems to suggest that neither Triss nor Yennefer have stopped their relationship with Geralt while he himself is unwilling to decide between them.
Therefore now that I have finished the game and the epilogue makes no mention of this (and it does if you pick only one option instead of both) MY QUESTION to you guys is: did you intentionally leave that out of the game’s epilogue so as not to force an unwanted choice on the players (in the way of “Geralt picked Triss/Yen in the end”). Or does the epilogue not mention anything about this because both the sorceresses are done with Geralt (this would be a very bad ending to the story by the way, and contradictory to both game and book lore).
Please answer to this question as I believe it would clarify things for a lot of fans (me included) who for whatever reason ended up with the threesome scene.
Yours respectfully
A Witcher fan.
P.S. I would never ask about something like this if it wasn’t about the witcher Geralt of Rivia.
