Feels like this game is missing more features. I'll do a write up on it, and hopefully, CDPR would look at my input.

Just waiting for bug fixes.

Those are previous gen games. CP is a next gen game. I don't know why they even bothered to release it on old hardware.

For the money? Also, it was developed for those platforms and, if it had been released on schedule, they were the current generation of consoles. The fact is they did, and have taken people's money for it and no amount blaming other people's choice of hardware when it is advertised as available for it changes that. Besides, apart from the fancy graphical effects that were never going to be on the old consoles (and everyone knew that), what is so advanced and "next gen" about the systems and mechanics of this game?

Dear gamers,

First of all, we would like to start by apologizing to you for not showing the game on base last-gen consoles before it premiered and, in consequence, not allowing you to make a more informed decision about your purchase. We should have paid more attention to making it play better on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Second, we will fix bugs and crashes, and improve the overall experience. The first round of updates has just been released and the next one is coming within the next 7 days. Expect more, as we will update frequently whenever new improvements are ready. After the holidays, we’ll continue working — we’ll release two large patches starting with Patch #1 in January. This will be followed by Patch #2 in February. Together these should fix the most prominent problems gamers are facing on last-gen consoles. We will be informing you about the contents of each patch ahead of their release. They won't make the game on last-gen look like it’s running on a high-spec PC or next-gen console, but it will be closer to that experience than it is now.

Finally, we would always like everyone who buys our games to be satisfied with their purchase. We would appreciate it if you would give us a chance, but if you are not pleased with the game on your console and don’t want to wait for updates, you can opt to refund your copy. For copies purchased digitally, please use the refund system of PSN or Xbox respectively. For boxed versions, please first try to get a refund at the store where you bought the game. Should this not be possible, please contact us at helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com and we will do our best to help you. Starting from today, you can contact us for a week up until December 21st, 2020.

Humbly

Marcin Iwiński, Adam Kiciński, Adam Badowski, Michał Nowakowski, Piotr Nielubowicz, Piotr Karwowski

P.S. PC gamers will also be getting regular updates and fixes improving the game.

Are you ever going to fix the Ai? The cars are not even smart enough to go around an object... and the police can't chase you.. people don't even fight back, they just walk. that's all they do. GTA3 did all of this better why can't cyberounk do it as well WE WOULDN'T BE MAD IF IT WAS AT LEAST ON GTA3 LEVEL BUT IS SHOULD'VE BEEN AT LEAST GTA 4 OR 5 LEVEL CD PROJECT RED CMON

I just finished my first playthrough of Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox S, and I have to say I am floored by the game. Yes, I have encountered a few bugs and glitches, and yes the game crashes on me one or two times per game-session. But it is a big and complex game so to me, bugs and crashes are to be expected, and so far I haven't encountered anything that's stopped me from progressing through the story.

I think CD Project Red has created hands down the best game I have ever played. And I am one of those people who strongly dislike First Person perspective in games, and even in FP Cyberpunk 2077 is friggin awesome, and as soon as I have posted this post, I'm starting my second playthrough. :D

What are CDPR going to do with the customers that stay loyal no matter what?
I hope we get something for not causing an extra stir or trouble.
I have invested over 24hrs in this game and i sure aint want to refund it. However i think its more than fair that we get something in return!

Dear CD PROJEKT RED Team,

Thank you very much for your time and attention.

Normally I do not write such posts and I even created an account
due I could not find an appropriate contact to send it via mail.
But this time I personally think that it is necessary
since there is so much hate and bad behavioured "children" outside that are just shouting out the loudest.

I personally want to thank you for creating Cyberpunk 2077 and all the hard work you all put into the game!
It is a great game with an immersive story and an gorgeous detailed open world.
I have fun playing it!

I also want to thank you for all the additional merchandise you put into the game box,
the free DLC you announced and also that you continue to work on the game.

But I also want to tell you to take a few days to relax and gain new energy for the upcoming tasks.
Your health is the most important thing in the world!

So I wish the whole team some happy and relaxing upcoming days
and to have a successful start to the new year.

Sincerely,
René

Personally i think everyone is just being to hard on you guys CDPR. I think it's sh***y that some of your team felt like they couldn't celebrate when your game went gold because they were afraid of being attacked by mainstream zealots. Maybe i come from a different time. A time when it was special to dump quarters into a game cabinet at the local pizza place and just hammer those greasy buttons for hours. when gaming came into the homes from the arcades. But the arcades were still awesome. like Las Vegas for gamers, dark rooms lit with flashy lights, neon and crazy addictive sounds. Donkey Kong was the s*** and Sega was a stand alone console. Glitches has always been a thing. It's just a reality. I remember when your PlayStation wouldn't boot up past the second logo or your ps2 lost all the data on those 2 mgbit and then later the 8 mgbit memory cards (which was a ton of space back then) cuz the console started corrupting data. I remember the panic attack you'd get from losing that fricken card, ALL your games were lost unless you found it lol. Or the ps2 would refuse to read the disc at all. Think gamers are way to pampered if they are gonna freak out on glitches when i remember you had to beat a video game in one damn day or leave the console running while you slept or was away and hoped to God the power didn't go out. You either beat a game or you didn't. There was no saves. And when saves did become a thing it was a SAVE POINT. If you didn't reach that point before you died you got hosed. Time to start over b**** lol. Forget glitches, try getting stuck in an area that you aren't supposed to be in (yet) and the game saved when you were there. I've had to restart from the very beginning, the entire game countless times because of that. And games were either easy or hard, they didn't have a difficulty setting

I'm grateful CDPR is going to work on and iron out the bugs. It does kinda suck to encounter a bug in a game and find a forum dedicated to it from 4 years earlier. By all means fix what needs fixing. But i think it's too far to just return the game cuz of glitches. You're to high maintenance if that's you, maybe you should stick to casual gaming on a pay to win app game or stop listening to what other people think. Glitches aren't fun obviously but show me a game that doesn't have glitches and I'll show you a piece of s***

CDPR, you guys are awesome don't let these gamer publications super critics get ya down. Most never even gave a shit about the game, the lore, your company and previous work and probably never intended to purchase er play cyberpunk to begin with. They just hate your politics or lack thereof and it's a shame that any gamers are listening to them. I'm reading articles where the writer spews his BS about glitches and then says "that's why I'm glad i haven't played the game yet until a few patches down the road". I'm paraphrasing lol. But why the F*** are you writing about the game then! At the moment i know more about the game than you do and your dedicating an entire article to complain about something you haven't even experienced?

Also i don't remember when it became an unforgivable sin to not give early copies to people on YouTube so they could spoil large portions of the game for you. B.F.D! I was always going to buy the game whether i had the cash (and extremely good luck to beat the scalper bots) to buy a ps5. Again maybe I'm from a different time but i think people are getting caught up in that when back in the day it was common practice, company's didn't reveal to much of their games, you didn't have people b**** about that sort of thing but they did beg for more footage. Game magazines were how you got your info and it only featured just about as much info as CDPR put out there this time. Personally if streamers started showing off any new footage before launch i wouldn't have even logged into the websites. I want to experience the game for myself and form my own opinion about it and not have this nagging b**** voice in the back of my head saying "see! I told you this part sucks! Doesn't it bother you now that I've pointed it out!?" Or have all the magic sucked out of a cutscene because now I'm not immersed into the game, I'm remember what dude did and the stupid jokes he made.

I am biased towards CDPR, so maybe I'd defend you guys to the hilt, the game would've had to be really F.U.B.A.R'd for me to think differently, but I'm really tired of all mainstream media and how they just attack everything despite having little to no awareness of the subject matter or making moot points that gamers don't give a s*** about. Then when some real criticism comes about they seize the opportunity and amplify the issue. Why don't ya make a f***ing federal case out of it, as the old saying goes. Information shapes your perception, shapes your reality. I'm not going to let these pessimistic and privileged people with a platform whos main target audience is mostly miserable people that want to gorge themselves on anger every day shape my reality. It ain't healthy to ingest that garbage. You know, Psychologists have the highest suicide rate per occupation, the most suicides per occupation. you gotta think all these guys ever hear about every day all day from everyone they talk to is how "life sucks, everything is terrible, what's the point". how long do you think you can hear that before you start to agree with them?

Hi thank you.
I'm playing on xbox one X here and the last update has really improved the game on my console. It doesn't crash as frequently it's on average every 3 hours now and some minor bugs have occurred but overall it is much more enjoyable than it was.
I'm really enjoying the game now and glad it works on my console so thanks much appreciated. 👍

So is there a planned, non-AVX compatibility patch?

I was going to reply to this earlier but I got sidetracked and forgot so sorry about that.
There are a few AVX fixes on the nexus.
Here's one: https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/107
It includes some other fixes and tweaks that you can individually disable.

Hope this allows you to play the game until CDPR fix it on their end. Just remember that you might have to remove the mod once the game gets updated.

And yet in the investor call by CDPR they are saying there won't be graphical improvements just performance ones? So which one is false? Is this just going to be another lie told to PS4/XboxOne owners? Shameful if so.

The problem that after the bugs are fixed it will reveal how bland the "RPG" mechanics really are
Yeah. Well I noticed that some time before the release the game lost it's "RPG" tag, unfortunately and was changed to "action adventure". That was the moment I got worried (with all the delays as well). And it turned out that most of the "rpg' side of the game was scrapped. Don't get me wrong I love the game. For me it's like a Deus Ex but in a huge world, not hub, which is sooo awesome. I love it. But still.... promises were different.

I have a strong feeling though that there is a whole lot of content and RPG mechanics that were just locked and unfinished because of the lack of time but are easy to get back into the game.

I hope :)

I've pre-ordered the CP2077 Limited Edition first minute it was available on GOG. Started my own little project for CP2077 themed gaming desk.
IMG_20201210_202040.jpg

Then I've build new PC for that game.
IMG20201209002037.jpg

I'm 9h into the game and I have to postpone it. I'll be "coming back....when it's Ready!"
....as it's clearly Not just yet.

I've picked up the first patch and so far it's up and running well on my ps4. Sorry to hear people are having trouble but it's running well for me. I appreciate that making something like this is hard work and am waiting for more patches and am happy we are getting support for it. For me I'm happy and this is the game I've been excited about for years. Please keep my money and please keep on improving CP77 and making more down the line hopefully.

Please make it possible to apply Hotfix 1.05 via GOG Galaxy by creating the Temp! folder in another drive, other than where the game is installed!!! I had to move away system folders on my SSD to make space, can't do that each time a patch is released.

forums.cdprojektred.com

Hotfix: patch files on another drive. Requirement is now 118GB/256GB of the SSD. Please!

I love the game, and it's gonna get better. But please, we need those hotfixes, make it possible to use drive D: on Gog.com to patch Cyberpunk 2077, then overwrite game files back into the original installation drive C: when ready. I cannot make 2x59=118GB free for this game, all on the same...

Has anyone got a reply from CDPR?

I've emailed helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com as per their instructions about my physical copy of PS4 game. I didn't get any confirmation and wondering if the email actually reached or I should send another email.
