This is cool and all, that your main focus is fixing bugs/glitches, but what about all the content of the game you guys removed before release? I'm talking "Braindances/JoyToys/Different Color Vehicles We Can Buy/Vehicle Customization/Clothes/Character Customization(character creator and ingame after you are playing like body/face/hair/tattoos/peircings/nails/genitals)." Npc's have way more customization on them than we get. Npc's also have 100x more clothes than we get. What about crafting? Why can't I craft all the clothes that are currently available? Why can't I upgrade common into uncommon > rare > epic > Legendary? Are these issues going to be addressed? Are you going to add this content that should have been in the game since launch? Or will these be ignored and not put in the game? If you're not going to add this content to the game, then can you release a creation tool for modders to add these to the game? I'd add all of this to the game if I had the tools to do so. Give us the tools if you won't add this kind's of content. It's bad enough we paid 60 dollars for a half-baked-game.

I asked this a little while ago but I want to make sure it isn't lost in the sea of comments but with the fact that we have only 4 romance options in the game and not one of them is bisexual really limits how many romances we have available. So I have to ask, can we possibly get an update that makes Judy Alvarez bisexual?

I'm not requesting that we make all the characters bi, since I know you guys wanted to make relationships more realistic in the game, but not having at least 1 of them be bisexual is kind of unrealistic as well and who better than arguably a lot of people's favorite character in the game.

I mean both male and female V only have two options each which is a very small number for such a big game. You could at least make Judy Bisexual and maybe give female V another romance option so we at least have three options for each gender instead of just two. Still a small number but it's a slight improvement and gives us at least a little more variety. Also, just about all of us love Judy regardless if we are male or female gamers, and we would all really thank you for it.
Please don't speak for female gamers and don't use us to get your already strictly male oriented game even more male oriented. I don't think many of us care about Judy as much as you do, and from what I've seen she also actually isn't people's favourite character period. Panam seems to be taking that spot. While Takemura seems to be the choice for the female side.

And if there should be a character that's bisexual in the game, it should be Kerry, considering he actually is bisexual in the original pen and paper Cyberpunk 2020 game and has been made gay for Cyberpunk 2077 for no reason.

AND if straight V (male or female) were to get an extra romance, then what about the lesbian / gay V?

I support adding more romances, period, because the options for female gamers and gay male gamers are bullshit pretty much, but come on man...

PS. lesbian women already have her, so why would they want make her bi? lol

We need opinion to start over without having leveling on weapons and armor please. There is no point having that in the game... If its online then ok but campaign in this game its just not good fit. And even crafting weapons is just to much when we can always find random better weapons and things. And please please add 3rd person, even if we are just in gameplay shooting and walking... but in conversations can bee up close i dont care that much... But in gameplay perspective it wuold bee nice to have this option.

I appreciate the offer of refunds, but it's too little too late IMO.

CDPR released this game knowing full well the state it was in. They released this game while going the extra length to ensure their consumers would not be able to make an informed decision. They kept a review embargo and then had an additional embargo to prevent reviewers and those with copies from sharing any of their own footage of the game to prevent consumers seeing the state the game was in.

They purposely did not show any footage of the base game on base consoles, because it didn't work and they'd lose those sales. Offering refunds is great and all, but that's a calculated response and nothing more. Offering refunds after the game is launched and the damage is done ensures they still keep a hefty sum of that money from those who are unaware of it or just won't take advantage.

Not to mention this is all about the performance state the game is in and nothing about the misleading content. This was sold worse than Bethesda did with Fallout 76 and their "16x the detail", after all your company is on record saying it runs surprisingly well on consoles, right?

I get why some people are mad but if they read and pay attention on most places I looked at the game it said ps4 pro will show better graphics if you can't get the ps5.. I myself am on pro so enjoying the game other than it blue screening probably 5 to 6 times a day when I do play and it doesn't look to bad but I will stick by project as I ve enjoyed the witcher games and people remember all games have bugs on release

Dear gamers,

First of all, we would like to start by apologizing to you for not showing the game on base last-gen consoles before it premiered and, in consequence, not allowing you to make a more informed decision about your purchase. We should have paid more attention to making it play better on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Second, we will fix bugs and crashes, and improve the overall experience. The first round of updates has just been released and the next one is coming within the next 7 days. Expect more, as we will update frequently whenever new improvements are ready. After the holidays, we’ll continue working — we’ll release two large patches starting with Patch #1 in January. This will be followed by Patch #2 in February. Together these should fix the most prominent problems gamers are facing on last-gen consoles. We will be informing you about the contents of each patch ahead of their release. They won't make the game on last-gen look like it’s running on a high-spec PC or next-gen console, but it will be closer to that experience than it is now.

Finally, we would always like everyone who buys our games to be satisfied with their purchase. We would appreciate it if you would give us a chance, but if you are not pleased with the game on your console and don’t want to wait for updates, you can opt to refund your copy. For copies purchased digitally, please use the refund system of PSN or Xbox respectively. For boxed versions, please first try to get a refund at the store where you bought the game. Should this not be possible, please contact us at helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com and we will do our best to help you. Starting from today, you can contact us for a week up until December 21st, 2020.

Humbly

Marcin Iwiński, Adam Kiciński, Adam Badowski, Michał Nowakowski, Piotr Nielubowicz, Piotr Karwowski

P.S. PC gamers will also be getting regular updates and fixes improving the game.

I don't want to hear this you should tell steam to give us our money back.. I can see what you all really spent your money on and it's not on the game it was on marketing and Keanu Reeves.

NO ONE is acknowledging they are aware of the issue and that MANY pc users, even with the best hardware CAN'T EVEN OPEN THE GAME.

That's a bit politically incorrect. It is socially acceptable to be gender fluid, so there is no difference between the genders and "male gamer" and "female gamer", just saying... Even V is apparently gender fluid, so they identify V as both "he" and "she" in the same conversation, just goes to show you. I think it's pretty neat the protagonist of the game is gender fluid. I've never played a game before where the main character is gender fluid. Play as Corp and within the very first hour of the game, go to your desk and go on your computer and pull up your evaluation, and you'll see V identified as "he" and the next sentence as "she" if you wanted proof.

Fair point about Kerry. And yes I've heard a lot of people definitely want Takemura. But I don't know man, a lot of us really like Judy. I like her in a similar way that I like Tali from Mass Effect. I always seem to find myself interested in the more nerdy ones who are interested in technology.

Sorry for trying to speak for the female gamers but I'm pretty sure the most popular options at the moment seem to be Panam and Judy. Now that is probably because they are women since female romance options tend to be more popular than male romances, unless we are talking Garrus once again from Mass Effect. I like Panam, but Judy just appeals to me more and I assure you it's not just because of her looks. I do legitimately enjoy her storyline, personality, and quests.

If they want to stay the course on keeping her lesbian, that's fine. It's just with so few romance options, some of us are just left wanting more. And while I did request to make Judy bi, I do agree it would make more sense to make Kerry bi. Than again they could just make both of them bi and then maybe add some gay, straight, and lesbian relationships later down the line but that's up to cdpr. Here's hoping they add some more romance options soon, then maybe I'll find someone I enjoy more than Judy but I kind of doubt that because I genuinely enjoyed her storyline a lot.

I guess this just my way of saying 2020 has been a rough year and I'd rather not get rejected even in the video game world. I'm sure some female gamers would also feel the same when they can't romance Kerry and they are stuck with Harry who honestly just seems a little more boring compared to the rest. I mean he isn't bad, but I think all the other romance options are better. And of course you also have Judy, and I know not all of the female gamers are interested in another girl, which unfortunately means you only have 1 dude and 1 girl. While we guys also have 1 dude and 1 girl, though Kerry is admittedly way more interesting than Harry. I'm just saying, I ain't gay but I'd much rather romance Kerry as Male V than Harry as Fem V. We just need more options is what I'm trying to get at, whether if that means making a few characters bi or just adding a lot more options down the line. I'm sorry if I sounded a bit like a desperate simp earlier, but I think what we all want is more variety, you know what I mean? 2 options per gender is just very limiting.

I actually didn't know that V is gender fluid. If so, that's cool. It also makes sense to, given the setting and the fact that they are never specifically referred to as Male or Female, rather Masculine or Feminine.

Nice info from CDP but I would love them adressing how they will improve the game. Give us a roadmap? Comment on obviously missing things like NPC and traffic AI? Will they waste a lot of time getting the old console versions to run, thus not investing time to get this game up to par for the pc/nextgen consoles?

Funny that they released a statement about refunds without even consulting Sony. Now PS4 players are fuming that they can't get their promised refund. I guess this is just another way to deflect blame away from CDPR? I hope Sony takes legal action and starts to hit you where it really hurts.

No need to apologize for making a fantastic game. Sure, it isn't 100% perfect yet but it is very close to it and highly enjoyable. This game is everything I could ever have hoped for and more. So much has gone into this and I appreciate everything about it. Playing on PS4 Pro without much issues, only annoyance is stray controls at times when walking and also when reading texts but I trust you to iron out this tiny crease in time. What has been achieved here is massive and most impressive and I look forward to spending countless more hours in this amazing world that has been created. Kudos to the whole team, this game is already my all time favourite.

Dear C.D. Project Red/Sony/Makers of Cyberpunk2077......

While I can certainly understand the frustration behind bugs, glitches and crashes and while I believe it's important to remedy such issues, I can't help but feel like everyone's overreacting and the backlash is undeserving, the game was only just released abd tbh glitches and bugs are a common mishap for most games, especially new releases......., and with a game as big as cyberpunk its completely reasonable that there would be alot more since its such a massive world with a ton of content.

Please stop gaslighting.
The majority of the complaints you are seeing are not about the bugs and performance issues. The main thing people are upset about is the content and features which are either implemented poorly or totally missing.

It seriously just blows my mind what you've just said. Back when you started dev'ment on this game the PS4 and Xbox One were relatively new and there was nothing else on the market.

At what point did you switch the effort from the PS4 and Xbox One to the PS5 and Xbox Series X???? Did anybody within your company speak up and say that by the time of CP2077's release the next gen consoles had just hit the market and except for a tiny group of people we're all still playing on our PS4 and Xbox One???!!!

Holy hell, what a mess of epic proportions you've gotten yourself into, and of all the AAA game companies out there, your's was the one I DID NOT EXPECT THIS FROM. EA, Ubisoft, and Bungie pull this kind of stuff and you should have just continued down the path of delivering the game primarily for the PS4, Xbox One X and PC, NOT next gen.

I'm playing on Xbox One X and so far my experience has been marginal, frame rate issues where the game crawls, audio/video that don't match, screen freezing, floating parts of the enviro, etc. I'm going to stop playing and wait for the major updates in Jan/Feb.

The worst part of your statement is the fact that you knew full well what you were releasing BEFORE you did so. You should seriously be ashamed. This is way too much the norm now-a-days and it has to stop.

No, it's not acceptable. It's the norm because people like us still buy the crap knowing full well it wasn't tested properly prior to release. All the AAA game companies do but it doesn't make it right. They all release half-a$$ed games and then apologize and patch them to death over the next 6 months. To say that the game was only just released and that because of that we're overreacting is insane. What happened to "proper" testing prior to release. We all heard of the crunch time they were under so obviously it still wasn't ready for release. The whole gaming dev, advertisement and release date process is just fundamentally flawed right now.
