So, the patch hasn't fixed my missions on my current save on OG Xbox One. Specifically the Delamain Epistrophy missions. I literally stand on top of the missing cars, with no progress. The only advice I have gotten is to go back before I got those missions. I'm literally 36+ hours in. Anyway you guys can make the patches work on existing saves so people don't lose progress?
If not, it's whatever, I plan another playthrough, I was just trying to do everything I could on the first one. I love the game, despite the bugs and flaws. I look forward to the fixes. I also look forward to playing it on next-gen once people wise up and stop feeding the scalpers.

I asked for a refund on PC. For a seemingly inclusive game, you very much forgot about left handed people, disabled and in general anyone who does no use gamepad or WASD keys. This omission is so bizarre that I have to straight up ask if this was ever intended to release on PC? You got a lot of work ahead of you ...

Thank you. I'll keep my copy to play on PS5 when the patch ships.

Good luck for the upcoming months.

The way this all has been going makes me sick. All the media and YouTubers just jumping on the hate train to get clicks. These people should be ashamed of themselves. CDPR have been working their fingers to the bone lately on this game and keeping their other stuff going too. I am sure there are some developers that will be not taking as much time as they should with their families for Christmas just so they can continue to work on their passion and stave off some of the shade that is being thrown their way. Does anyone remember the Witcher 3 when it came out? There were bugs as with any game. I played it on switch and there is a reason it's one of the most highly awarded games ever.

Please try and put yourselves in their shoes instead of just hopping on the wagon with getting a refund and talking trash for the next few months then rebuying it and acting like the guy who sends his steak back 3 times at a restaurant just to try and get it for free then eat it anyway. This company will continue to pour themselves into this game and fix problems as they occur.

Do you want to blast them on social media, review bomb them, and be an outspoken keyboard warrior and leave nasty comments and demand refunds? All this accomplishes is making the devs and others feel bad and if it becomes viral enough could cause the company to lose money and their hardworking employees. Then what? They have less resources to continue work on this game and to produce great games in the future.

In short, just please think twice about spreading this fire. There were mistakes made and problems still exist, but they are doing everything they can to fix them all and make people happy. That is why all of them do it, to create something awesome and see people enjoy it,.. also to get paid. Help them keep doing both. Be patient, play another game for a while if you are having bad issues. But just stop this toxic crap of blasting them into the ground and give them a chance to make things how they should be. Show a little kindness. And if you just can't say somethin nice, don't say nothin at all.

Also they been literally hiding versions of the game knowing very well that it won´t be received well.

Although I do agree with you until a certain extent, and I can not stress enough that when it works I enjoy the hell out of it saying that oh, just wait and play something else until it gets fixed is in no way the right approach. The why TF i paid 60, to have a broken game that is borderline broken on release, if I can not completely enjoy it until it goes in the bargain bin? By the time the Witcher3 was in the state it is today it was at least half price.

And if the people don´t sound their complaints how you imagine things to change? Or everyone just be sheeple and that´s it, hoping for the best?

For all you Players out there !!

Just wait for CD devs to make (fix) the game they intendent to make.. Working in time of Covid-19, (mostly from home) is not the ideal for Devs to work in. (I think that was one of the resons they had to delay the release).
Let me remind you it's NOT a next gen game, the official (as I know now) update it's even out yet !!, so wait for more to come, it will be This game that will set the standard for more to come.!

Just my 2cents

I love the game, and I know it will only be better in time..

@ Devs and All of yah :
Don't waste your time on jealousy; sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind...

the race is long, and in the end, it's only with yourself
Remember the compliments you receive, forget the insults

I'm not in any way releated to CDpr... Just a gamer...;-)

I am happy to hear you are refunding the game for people who were dissapointed and it is good that you show that, respect for that.
I will ask for a refund not because of the bugs glitches or performance but frankly because all of the cut content you have taken away, braindance, eating food, drinking, nothing to do in nightclubs, and one night stands gone, sorry but the amount of stuff not present in this game just sucks too much. And especially in a year that was not easy I am sorry to say but this really was not ok.
Why is all the things you guys said we could do gone??
Why market this game by showing things you cant do!?!

You made this game into a looter shooter. That is all this game is. I PAID FOR AN RPG!

Thanks for the sincerity and keep working on a project that we all really love.

However, please note that it is on all platforms where one of the problems that negatively affect the experience and immersion in the game occurs: the "poor" AI.

We need NPCS, police and traffic to get artificial intelligence. This is what a living city would feel like.

On the other hand, greater interaction in the city is necessary: for example, to be able to use bars and food stalls, benches, chairs, etc.

And finally, a large city like NC needs to activate that train system that is already about to work but was replaced by teleportation machines. This would make the city extremely enjoyable.

Thanks team. I know you will continue to do a good job. And I hope that my opinion can serve to co-pursue the ultimate open world game.

Yeah I mean, by all means the bugfixes are the pressing issue for now, but this should 100% be the next focus. I'm just worried about replayability once I'm finished with the linear story, which is incredible to be honest but I'm not looking forward to replaying it until the world breathes life.

Great news and I think it's important for CDPR to take that route.
The game's amazing but needs some fixing in term of bugs and AI (I mean, obviously). You can do it, I believe in you!

I don't know how well NCDOT works, but it is in America, so we know that the trains probably won't be working anytime soon.

I actually am. Fixes should make the experience far better and the possibilities for builds are nut. The game will feel different to play depending on the upgrades and perks that you invest in, so, I'm personally in.

I do agree that the focus of the upcoming updates should be on fixing bugs.
Then comes the AI fixing and once they're done with that they can start to put a little more life in the city, at least that's the line that make the more sense to me.

As a PC user, I'll believe it when I see it.

The bugs have been mostly fairly minor visual stuff, nothing too bad. But outside of the story content, the game just feels utterly barebones, with nothing to do or interact with. I don't know how they're ever going to get this game into not just a (mostly) bug-free state, as it should be the default for any released game, but something that's actually fun and engaging to play. Things like mini-games, good AI on both civilians and police, role-playing options, random events to partake in etc etc. I fear this game will remain a one and done affair, once you finished the main story. There's just no reason to return to it after that point, as it stands.

Dear gamers,

First of all, we would like to start by apologizing to you for not showing the game on base last-gen consoles before it premiered and, in consequence, not allowing you to make a more informed decision about your purchase. We should have paid more attention to making it play better on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Second, we will fix bugs and crashes, and improve the overall experience. The first round of updates has just been released and the next one is coming within the next 7 days. Expect more, as we will update frequently whenever new improvements are ready. After the holidays, we’ll continue working — we’ll release two large patches starting with Patch #1 in January. This will be followed by Patch #2 in February. Together these should fix the most prominent problems gamers are facing on last-gen consoles. We will be informing you about the contents of each patch ahead of their release. They won't make the game on last-gen look like it’s running on a high-spec PC or next-gen console, but it will be closer to that experience than it is now.

Finally, we would always like everyone who buys our games to be satisfied with their purchase. We would appreciate it if you would give us a chance, but if you are not pleased with the game on your console and don’t want to wait for updates, you can opt to refund your copy. For copies purchased digitally, please use the refund system of PSN or Xbox respectively. For boxed versions, please first try to get a refund at the store where you bought the game. Should this not be possible, please contact us at helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com and we will do our best to help you. Starting from today, you can contact us for a week up until December 21st, 2020.

Humbly

Marcin Iwiński, Adam Kiciński, Adam Badowski, Michał Nowakowski, Piotr Nielubowicz, Piotr Karwowski

P.S. PC gamers will also be getting regular updates and fixes improving the game.

the mistake is not having paid attention to it, there is a saying in Spain, "he who covers a lot, little squeezes" it is prudent to know that if you have this mastodon it would not work in toasters, customers are the ones who waste time with this decision, But if now you have to fix it yes or yes, where are the modding tools? In the communiqués you said that they would be delayed because you were focused on getting it out for consoles ... this is the result so, where are those tools? the pc user does not have to wait for those who are conditioned by a fixed system T.T tools now !!!

Oh man, such a shame someone somehow put up a review embargo up for consoles. Did you figure out who it was? The intern maybe?

Thank you, CDPR. I trust you.
I trust that you will make a solid game out of this delicious mess yet, just as you did with W3.

I also trust that you will not make this way of working a business model in the future a la No Man's Sky/Hello Games.

I'm enjoying the game on Xbox and looking forward to the improvements with future patches I just hope you'll add some more features with future dlc, I remember the Witcher 3 launch and how amazing that game ended up being which makes me believe you'll stick to your word.
Keep up the good work.
