Sorry but this is completely counter intuitive. It isn't "hating" when people have spent $60 for a game that hasn't delivered on CDPR's own promises. The criticisms levied at them are mostly all justified and we as consumers should be demanding more aside from bug fixes and optimisation. The game is missing key features and systems that were sold even as recently as the Night City previews. We ultimately all want the same thing, which is a finished end product that fulfills the games potential

Once again :) the company's executives have already taken responsibility, about anticipation or as they said, they wrote: 'underestimation'. Let us be together, good things will come.

I trust you CDPR, and I'm looking forward to the stuff you're going to be adding to the game. But this launch was definitely disappointing.

Dear gamers,

First of all, we would like to start by apologizing to you for not showing the game on base last-gen consoles before it premiered and, in consequence, not allowing you to make a more informed decision about your purchase. We should have paid more attention to making it play better on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Second, we will fix bugs and crashes, and improve the overall experience. The first round of updates has just been released and the next one is coming within the next 7 days. Expect more, as we will update frequently whenever new improvements are ready. After the holidays, we’ll continue working — we’ll release two large patches starting with Patch #1 in January. This will be followed by Patch #2 in February. Together these should fix the most prominent problems gamers are facing on last-gen consoles. We will be informing you about the contents of each patch ahead of their release. They won't make the game on last-gen look like it’s running on a high-spec PC or next-gen console, but it will be closer to that experience than it is now.

Finally, we would always like everyone who buys our games to be satisfied with their purchase. We would appreciate it if you would give us a chance, but if you are not pleased with the game on your console and don’t want to wait for updates, you can opt to refund your copy. For copies purchased digitally, please use the refund system of PSN or Xbox respectively. For boxed versions, please first try to get a refund at the store where you bought the game. Should this not be possible, please contact us at helpmerefund@cdprojektred.com and we will do our best to help you. Starting from today, you can contact us for a week up until December 21st, 2020.

P.S. PC gamers will also be getting regular updates and fixes improving the game.

It doesn't hurt as much to think of it as a work in progress. I just hope you guys are paying attention to what the community sticking with the game has to say.

I have been reading all of the posts and news these past few days and some of the comments on GOG for reviews are not really done in earnest. As an investor in CD Red Project, if you are truly unhappy with the teams incredible and tireless efforts over these past several years, then please take up the offer to get a full refund because I would rather knowingly lose
USD $50+ than have ignorant and negative reviews which really does affect my pocket.

I honestly do not fully understand the animosity towards the development team nor the company in general. They are people just like you with lives and families outside of work. People, remember that this is just a game and if you are truly upset and disappointed, please follow through and get your refund but remember, no one forced you to pay-to-play, you did this of your own free will.

The choices that we make in our lives should be of ones that really matter and playing a computer game should be at the very bottom on the serious scale...

You do not have to like what I said but at the end of the day people, I have far more to lose than you do, so be nice and maybe Karma will return in-kind...

I'm a glass half full kind of guy and even though I spent a lot of money in preparation for this game (250.00 SSD and a PS4 Pro) I choose to see this whole thing as a chance to see what CDPR is really made of. I pre-ordered many months before the game dropped not just because of the hype but because I know what you guys are capable of. I don't want a refund, I want to celebrate your accomplishment through enjoying a great game worthy of your reputation. Looking forward to seeing how you guys respond in action and to what extent you fix/improve the game beyond simply how it's running.

Please enjoy your holidays and when you come back, come back with a fire that burns away our doubts.

The game feels very incomplete the longer you play and notice its flaws.

Like only 70% has been done.

The A.I is horrendous. It breaks immersion so bad. An NPC walked into my car and everyone started screaming like a terrorist attack happened.

I sneak with Jackie to kill enemies, he and V screams out loud "they have seen us" or something. And Jackie sneaks in front of an enemy to enter the room where im hidden and somehow i get noticed even though i am out of sight.

The character customization shows a totally different result in game.

I can walk through NPCs.

Police A.I is also very bad.

For a city where looks are everything, you can not change your looks later on in game or get different tattoos. And some choices dont show up either.

Optimization is not at all good on PC. FPS violently jumps up and down. Like looking in the mirror, FPS drops about 20 fps even on lowest graphic settings.

The world feels empty, also feels like you are not a part of it.

One scene where you shoot while a friend is driving, npcs that are killed flies 20m up in the air through the roof.

Key mapping is vague, many QoL settings are hidden and has no UI.

Some has to change config files to adjust settings to ones liking, even changing hex codes in the EXE file at times to turn off antialiasing.

The FOV sliders are not in par in game. Some items cant be interacted with or picked up on higher FOV setting.

Driving is actually quite good. But it would be nice if players could at least change color and perhaps rims/wheels.

Clothing shops have too little clothes to choose from, and stats seem to override styling. Looks are everything, yet stats overrides it. Would be nice with a vanity tab.

More weapon modification would be welcome, more shops, more interaction with the environment. More places to enter, like in the building where V resides, there are no apartments at all which you can break into.

There are tons more i can point out.

Really feels like an incomplete game, the controlling of the character sometimes reminds me of conan exiles.

I was not expecting this at all. It feels very confusing. Cyberpunk is so much more than what this game represents. Which i think you will never add or flesh out.

For seven or eight years of development, it feels like its nowhere near completed or do justice to the vision you and us gamers had all these years.

This is very very disappointing at a level i can not describe with words. Thanks for trying though, i still have hopes that this game becomes what it was intended to be, only time will tell.

All consoles and PC versions got the update 1.04.

It's Monday - still no patch on Stadia.

Looks like CD Project does not give a f*** about Stadia gamers.

Shame.

Thank you for your effort even in these hard times. The game is breathtaking and I am everyday sucked by it for many hours, but yeah there are some bugs that are annoying for some people or the poor performance of the game, but still it was launched a few days ago, not a single game is perfect. I saw that they've put so much effort delivering what they promissed. They were rushed until launching by some groups of people and now they are blamed that the game doesn t run properly on 7 years old conssole and that they found some bugs that are fixable and are not game breaking. Have patience and try to see the other way around, appreciate what this game delivers, its story, graphics, that the game loads imediatelly unlike gta 5, you don t have loading screens the auto saving works perfectly unlike many games.

Nah CD, it's all good.

You guys are the best and it's clear as daylight that you put a lot of effort into Cyberpunk.

No game nowadays are without its hiccups and as far as I'm concerned you guys delivered in full.

I'm playing on the ps4 slim, and for the most part it's running beautifully! First game I ever pre-ordered and the first game since the witcher 3 that I'm obsessed with exploring. I want to soak up every last thing night city has to offer, not to mention the story is amazing so far!

Obviously I'll patiently be waiting for the patches, but as it is now, it's still amazing and if it's just going to keep getting better than I'm an even happier customer.

Either way, I'll be doing multiple playthroughs for the forseeable future, and I just wanted to thank you for all the hard work, and all the amazing stories you guys tell. Night city is beautiful and its a joy to be able to live there!

Also, sorry that it didn't go exactly as you guys planned.. I can just guess how disappointed you guys were, but myself and a lot of others are with you and will continue to support you!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have a city to burn!

Look this game is huge and CDPR literally still rolls out updates for the Witcher 3. They'll definately fix it, and add more mind blowing content. I come from the land of modded Bethesda games and I'm here to say most of you barely even know what a bug is. I've had to do spells and rituals to even get my Skyrim to load sometimes, I'm on Xbox one x btw, and it looks and plays great. Frame rate drops some while driving here and there but then smooths out. I mean I guess Bethesda really broke me because an occasional save and load and it works great. Also gonna install it on an external SSD which should help out quite a bit. 🤷🏼‍♂️

So question for those on old consoles: Are you having poor experiences playing this game on a 60 Hz HD/1080p panel?

I agree with those that if it's released on last generation consoles, it should be playable on last generation consoles. But I think having the expectation of playing this game on anything more than a 60 Hz HD/1080p on last generation consoles is not a reasonable expectation. Even on PS4 Pro and whatever the last generation updated XBox was called. Looking at the equivalent PC GPUs for these consoles, there's not a single modern day AAA game those GPUs can play at 4k... So why should the old consoles be able to?

Allegedly PS4 Pro is a GTX 980, which is ANCIENT, there's no way you can play this game at anything more than 1080p 60 Hz on a GTX 980... Even then I would suspect you would have to play on medium to low settings to get close to 60 Hz.

Your trying to play the game on a 6 year old GPU, which is ancient technology for GPUs!

Is the game itself going to be enriched too after the bugs are fixed. Speaking of the ai and most of the cut content. Or is this something that can be added through free dlc.

I did not expect a real life simulator from Cyberpunk 2077 but alot of content wich was shown in the trailers has either been changed or removed from the game that everyone got 10 Dec 2020. I hope most of the things envisioned regarding to Cyberpunk 2077 can be and will be added through future dlcs or perhaps patches.
If not through mod support by the community.

This game got alot of potential.

CD projekt Red we trusted U you made a big mistake. I would think getting the games running bug free on the consoles and the PC that would be a good start then after that maybe add some features back in that you took out the wall running car customization maybe even give a DLC of the first year-and-a-half wen you're in night city instead of a glorified minute-and-a-half cutscene and the last thing is to make sure you give us some really good modding tools and I think we'll all be happy I will trust you again but that's the bare minimum that has to be done you don't want to end up like Bethesda do you when I buy a CD projekt Red game I want to go to the store not have to watch a review and not worrying just give you my money don't you want to be that company to? I went out of my way and bought on GOG I never buy anyting Off of steam I don't want to have all kinds of accounts. I did it because you guys got a hundred percent of the proceeds from the service and wanted to do right by you but you messed it up so do right by us do right by the console userss PC users fix the bugs get the game playable on consoles and PC because it's unplayable definitely on consoles and it's unenjoyable on PC. get us some free DLC and add back in some features that you took out and get us some really good mod tools and don't release a game unfinished again that's not good I think will accept we'll accept the apology and buy more games from you again in the future. take care everybody at CD projekt Red and thank you because I know a lot of you developers did work hard on this game thank you. happy holidays and please make this right
