This only buys time to address the console abysmal state. The game has design and core issues and is unfinished. Fixing bugs is half the problem.

Is this you thinking the game was running good? or was it about the game running at all on current gen console? And yes they're talking about PS4 and XBone in this article.
Also I really suggest you look into players feedback on forums, I have seen one that really checks a lot of the boxes of the things that we expected from a game that's delayed 3 times other than the obvious bug fixes.

I want to start off by saying that it is so great of you for being so dedicated to fixing the game’s issues and addressing your mistakes.
But at the same time I am also shocked and disappointed that you did overlook the last gen versions to much and didn’t show them to the public before hand. Also releasing the PC version with so many bugs. You let yourself get pressured with release dates, when you should really have a “It will release when it’s fully done” game development policy. This is quite a big rookie mistake to make and yet you are now actually an industry veteran.
However, now I’m also sure that you’ve learned from your mistakes and such release fumbles are now a thing of the past.
I wish you all the luck CDProject Red going forward and I look forward to playing Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 in February, when you’ve released all the fixes for it.

OK, I did not sniff anything, I promise. One hour ago I have started CP2077 by mistake - I wanted to try Disco Elysium, actually. I did not touch my gaming computer after my last message yesterday but today everything works, no technical problems, at least. I can only congratulate you!
I didn't encounter any crashes on PC, I saw some bug here and there, but nothing serious, only those that can make you laugh 
I finished the game after 40 hours and never had a single problem. Runs great on RTX Ultra with 60ish FPS. Thanks for the stories CD Projekt RED, I really loved every single moment of the game.

What will they fix on the game? The game is cool but no more than that, the core game is wrong, no substance just superficial, many cuts, wrong AI, you feel that the story from the main storyline was cut, 6 months on 2 minutes, the prologue doesnt say anything about the past, yet you feel on the dialogues that it was kinda cut, the world is so big and colorful yet so shit physics, the AI is the worst on the market, sorry we do not deserve this not one deserve this, this game was cleary made on 2 years or less.

I see your thinking, but it's not the same as the PC version just being played through the Xbox One/PS4 hardware, CDPR will have tailored those versions to suit the hardware, including scaling things back (which they have on those versions) such as graphical quality, population, traffic density, etc. If they could not get the game to run in a reasonable fashion on that hardware, it should not have been sold for that hardware, but I do not think that is the case. It has simply been released before they could optimize it properly for those platforms. Parts of the game look just fine, but they are next to other parts where it appears that the textures are very low detail. It's not the hardware struggling, my ancient Xbox One is mostly quiet as a mouse, it is the coding. They needed more time.
Hey CDPR, thank you for making a statement and addressing the skeleton in the closet. Not sure if you will read this. I just want to tell you while I'm a bit disappointed in the way you handled the review embargo, console versions, and bugs in all versions, etc... I'm still having a great time with the game I hope you keep your word and improve on all versions of the game. Looking forward to a more finished product and it's future expansions. I say this as an investor in your company and a fan of your products, I believe in you. Please be more transparent with your fans in the future. You are not on my **** list yet, but am I slightly disappointed in you.

Hi, I play on xbox one and I fell in absolute love with this game the first hour I played and I know not many people will agree with me but you guys made a wonderful game that actually made me shed a tear on my first playthrough, and I plan on playing another making new choices and so on, I will admit even with my love for the game there are a good amount of bugs, but to be honest none of them where so gamebrakin that I wouldn't love it any less

What is the point of even giving the PS Store "refund system" for? You can't refund a game after you download the game on PS Store. It says so in Sony's cancellation policy. Did you people review it before providing that link? Refund bot kicks you out of chat if you say you downloaded the game. Your other option would be to lie in chat about it to proceed further, only to be kicked by an actual person probably later for lying about it. What an utter waste of my time. The game crashes every hour on my PS5, and I tried playing this buggy mess for 10 hours. And I can't even ask for refund because I downloaded this buggy mess. Let's see what this so called "helpmerefund" email does on that front for my refund.
I am left-handed, so please allow people like us to configure the keyboarad to adapt our needs. It is impossible to remap the arrows up and down. This is basic in any game. We always use the arrows to move the character and vehicles, and the keys around the arrows for other functions.
Let me just say I was surprised how good this game is.
I didn't like the Witcher, and some of your other games I was not hitting so I was kind of on the fence about this even though I had to have it day one ( being the nut gamer that I am).

I don't know what's up with the PlayStation or the PC, but damn my series S is golden.
I've seen a few glitches I had a crash other than that (to be honest), I don't believe how fucking good this game is, you guys pulled out all sorts of shit with this one. And I am so freaking glad you guys made it..
It's been a long year for me, sometimes it sucked, but this thing makes all the crap and shit that's gone down just seem like a bad dream.
