Importing save from TW1

I am halfway through act 1 of TW2. Other than a couple of arms & armor, I don't see how importing my TW1 save had any effect. Did it (perhaps in more subtle ways)?

It has only a few (yeah, subtle) effects. You get the imports,

different dialogue relating to Adda if you didn't kill her, and Siegfried is in the game if you sided with the Order.
