I know the UVs are screwed on import to Max 2010. What version of Max are you using? I am wondering if it is an FBX version issue. It looks like the ModKit uses FBX 2014, but the newest version of the plugin for Max 2010 is FBX 2012. I imported the same FBX into Cinema 4D 15 which has the FBX 2013 plugin, and it imported the UVs fine. A friend also tried importing them into MotionBuilder 2014, and they were fine there as well, albeit flipped vertically.
