Hi all,I'm not totally good in english, so i can make lots of errors.I'm making a mod who has for objective to improve bosses in the game.For make long, difficult and epic combats.I have uploaded a video in a battle with the Leo Ghost, here is the modifications :Vitality : 170 -> 510Attack : 115 -> 130Added immunities : Fire and BurnThe video has been record in level 9, Hard mode.http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=V3ApCnZGtH4If you have any suggestions, please post.
 
If you're going to give him that many hit points, then leave the fire damage on. There's little point to spending points on skills you can't actually use.
 
I have a little reduced the HP of Leo ghost to 350 for the moment.I wait the SDK for see about the beast : normally it immunite to stun but we can stun it sometimesI cannot modifiy the battle vs Azar Javed and the Professor, because i can give him 3.000.000 hp but the last cutscene launch just after 2-3 hit on him.I wait the SDK for that too.The current modifications for the Golem is :HP : 1000 -> to 3500 (3 shocks -> 10 shocks)Attack : 150 -> 200Damage : N/A -> 200Normally i thinked to just modify the HP for we can kill it with only 5 shocks, but after i think with more HP and more damage from the golem can pressure the player to don't make erros with pylons.The video has been record in level 18, Hard mode.http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=Jq3edqWIKXsCan we put directly the youtube player on the forum ?
 
I like the better bosses.Leo's ghost, maybe give him (Leo) more increase in Parry or Dodge.Geralt hits him alot in that video without Leo defending himself much. That way, the lesser vitality increase and higher Parry/Dodge would make the battle long and even more interesting.I say give more Dodge/Parry since Leo is one of the few Boss monsters that uses a sword, which parry is a Sword Skill.Edit: Add one thing, since he is a ghost (spector) classify him as one so using Spector Oil would be a benefit; then lower damage done by a steel sword by half in his attributes. Steel_Mult = 0.75 maybe lower for ghost? Geralt only has a steel sword in Act 1. --> 0.25 should make it more real fight without so much vitiality increase. :)
 
Yes thanks, this is a good idea more Parry and dodge for Leo.I have finished Chapter 3 and have little problem with the Professor, because this is the same stats for Ch2 and 3.http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=_msf5wmcEmMhttp://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=0z1mM3h1vLMFor Dragon i think about that :It's a God normally but he doesn't do lot of damage, and we can kill it only if we kill the adds.I improve the damage for kill Geralt in only one hit, more like a God now.
 
The Werewolf fight was pretty good. Use of Yrden traps to kill the animal is in line with what a wolf is. :) I wonder if the werewolf's fur is more prone to fire damage to help kill it to; plus the myth about werewolf die from silver sword more.
 
A good idea, as many of the boss fights were over way to fast.I still say he should keep his burn/fire damage though.
