Hail fellow Knight-Pedant ! You must be fresh out of the cloister to still display hypersensitivity to the idle speech patterns of those too young & reckless to know better. Thanks for the review. I wish I could read it, but as an English teacher I just can't stand reading articles with "u" and "ur" in it. No offence to the author, I appreciate the effort!
I think u can. i dnt recall trying it.Can you sell the books like in TW1 once read?
I understand brother. I apologize. I will make the corrections right away. It was a lengthy post. So I lost my patience mid way. Thanks for the review. Damn!Cant say anything about it brother. No spoilers whatsoever.
I corrected as many mistakes as I could find. Thanks for the review. I wish I could read it, but as an English teacher I just can't stand reading articles with "u" and "ur" in it. No offence to the author, I appreciate the effort!
1. Hard difficulty somehow makes the AI smarter I think. The monsters are harder to hit, they start dodging Geralt and attack smartly. You also stop regaining your health automatically. Higher the difficulty, higher is the skill and preparation required by Geralt. As far as I see it, Hit points remain the same, only the damage done, decreases a little. Thanks for a review!
1. Can you please be more specific and tell as much as you noticed on how Hard difficulty affect gameplay? (more ingredient for potion, more foes e.t.c)
2. Can your horse, Roach, die in combat?
3. I read you have not to play W1 but is there any chance you have info on do W1 choices have influence in W3?
It might also mean, I have no idea which character you are talking about.Damn!
But that could mean that you actually met her![]()
Thanks brother! An honest review. I like it.
To be honest, Some parts actually gave me nightmares.is the tone of the game creepy often? great review btw
You wont regret it brother. Do not pay heed to the downgrade stuff. It really doesn't matter for a game like this. You will enjoy it nonetheless.Thank you for this review, ArRam , it actually stopped me from cancelling my pre-order and made me excited for the game again.
I am looking forward to the third part.
Dont know about what the reviewer said. But I can assure you that the glitches and bugs are very tiny ones. I actually have no right to judge the game based on it as it has not been released yet. A day one patch is going to address a lot of bugs. How often did you stumble upon weird, maybe a bit unpolished things? I noticed during one of the videos that you are able to loot stuff with Ciri - though she does not have an inventory. You click loot, and then the loot just disappears... One of the reviewers mentioned a quest where some people get killed and then the villagers are mourning the dead like forever right in the center of the village.
Thank you! No need to apologize, I am the only one to blame for my OCD when it comes to these thingsI think u can. i dnt recall trying it.

I have not progressed into the story that much as of now. I am only wandering and doing a few side quests. Majority of my time I just walk around and save screenshots.Great honest review, do you find that the main story became a lot easier ( level wise ) after levelling up in the side quests?
I find the downgrade dishonest, but it does not bother me. These things however do bother me:You wont regret it brother. Do not pay heed to the downgrade stuff. It really doesn't matter for a game like this. You will enjoy it nonetheless.

But as far as I have played, it has managed to remain challenging. Also keep in mind that you can still be beaten by monsters lower than your level if you are not careful (hard difficulty).
On the similar note, I would like to add that, the real challenge of witcher 3 lies not in combat, but in decision making, be it the main story or the side quests. This is my personal opinion by the way.
CDPR has addressed the downgrade debate very recently. You might want to check that out.I find the downgrade dishonest, but it does not bother me. These things however do bother me:
- loot scaling (especially the recent change of scaling it down to character level... terrible idea)
- immersion-breaking Gwent which is nothing like in the books (Geralt playing with cards depicting people he knows - seriously?)
- Geralt being able to fight monsters in heavy armour, which would make him too slow to counter their supernatural speed
But it seems I might be able to ignore these flaws if the game is overall as good as you say. Fingers crossed.
If that's the only way to see Siegfried again ... so be it[...]Geralt playing with cards depicting people he knows - seriously?[...].
