Hi there mate! This is great news!! I thouth that there will only be sirens and drowners as underwater monsters and I thouth it was a pity since there is so many water in the game and not populate it with water monsters is a waste! So you confirm that there are not just sirens and drowners underwater and we can expect something like a sea serpent or a tentacle monster?? Thanks!!There are other (beautiful) enemies n the water. Discover for yourself!
There is more coming, check out the part 3 of the review soon. Thanks for the great review AaRam!!! Man wished I could have flown to the Middle East and grab a copy myself...
Still 5 more days to go....
I think that 'A NIGHT TO REMEMBER' cgi trailer which is releasing in few hours will give you a better insight.Hi there mate! This is great news!! thank you for the reply, sorry about the nightmares but that excites me a lot, i love fantasy with a bit of creepiness, your review made it that much more difficult to wait for the gameTo be honest, Some parts actually gave me nightmares.
Also if you revisit a few official trailers of witcher 3, you will spot one.![]()
At least the previews suggest that drowners and water hags also dive a lot. It would be an odd omission if they weren't among the aquatic enemies you can face. That's weird...the only monsters that I remember from the trailers are sirens and an Ekhidna in the SOD trailer...Anyway, just to be sure, you confirm that there are other water monsters not shown yet? sorry if I insist my friend, but this is one of my biggest interests in TW3!![]()
Yes, but it would be really cool if in the ocean of Skellige we could see some big underwater monster other than sirens and drowners! Maybe a Kraken, or a sea serpent...or a Kayran! At least the previews suggest that drowners and water hags also dive a lot. Are you sure about it? AFAIK there are few types of loot and only some of them (randomized type) scale to your level (up and down), legendary items don't scale.- loot scaling (especially the recent change of scaling it down to character level... terrible idea)
be sure to check out the upcoming CGI trailer. (I hope it is what I think it is.) Thats all I can say. That's weird...the only monsters that I remember from the trailers are sirens and an Ekhidna in the SOD trailer...Anyway, just to be sure, you confirm that there are other water monsters not shown yet? sorry if I insist my friend, but this is one of my biggest interests in TW3!![]()
U can expect tto encounter the same in the game.We get to see the tail of a whale looking thing in one of the trailer. Would be cool !
All we need to do is wait brother. I have not completed the game to give you any sort of confirmation.Yes, but it would be really cool if in the ocean of Skellige we could see some big underwater monster other than sirens and drowners! Maybe a Kraken, or a sea serpent...or a Kayran!![]()
Now I realize why I dont find loot greater than Geralts level. I think the loot scaling is there in the game. Never really noticed it until you guys pointed it out. But you sometimes find the similar weapon of higher level later. So I think its cool. There are tons of weapons too loot. I dont think that should be a concern. Are you sure about it? AFAIK there are few types of loot and only some of them (randomized type) scale to your level (up and down), legendary items don't scale.
Maybe OP could clarify? Have you found any items with too high level requirements for you to use?
Thanks mate! Just updated my review. You might want to check that out.Thank you for the Review @ArRam ! It's very good and my Hype is greater than before hahaha.
I even dare to say that it's better than many professional (gamer magazine and so on) reviews out there. Generally, gamers are more truthful. I always check the personal reviews, not the oficial ones, on metacrit before deciding to play a game
I am not sure if the patch is out yet. Thanks! Thanks for your review.. but you don't play it with that newest patch? It's fixing some bugs and problems from what I have heard and it makes your life easier![]()
AI is pretty good. It seems that higher difficulty settings make the AI smarter.Thank you for this great review. What could you tell about the AI of the enemies? Are they stupid or not?
Brother,Thanks for the review ArRam - I'm even more excited now! I'm one of those Skyrim mod users who wanted to most out of immersion as possible - it's amazing to think this will be better than all those mods combined!
Can you answer me these questions though please?
Is the world randomized and changing without your input? For example, if I go to a location one day, and I find a certain monster there, will the same kind of creature spawn there a few days later? I expect certain kinds of monsters to be in certain kinds of terrain (e.g. Hags in a swamp), but I'm just curious if it's as predictable as the Witcher 2 was?
I'm the kind of gamer where I enjoy free roaming, and doing stuff outside the main story. Do you see this game being playable long after the main story is done, and if you want to just roam around, hunt monsters, and just be apart of the world?
Lastly, will there be skirmishes and small scale battle going on between armies you can get involved with? Is there any choices you can make to take sides in conflicts between factions?
I would be so appreciative if you could answer these for me!
You will love it! Its absolutely gorgeous! Its my favourite too!I am really REALLY excited for Skellige Isles. The snowy nordic feel is what I have been the most excited for since the beginning.
Uh..I thought the game takes place DURING the invasion of the north?Brother,
I have not really checked it the way you ask. I can tell you that the monsters are not confined to just one spot. They roam around, but within sensible limits. Some also respawn if u dont destroy their nests.
Its all very generic.
The game takes place after a war. So I have nonot encountered any active skirmishes so far. I dont think I will.
The story this time is very personal. No stormcloaks vs imperials out here. But there are better things to look forward too. #wildhunt
Yeah, I hope that it feels big enough too!You will love it! Its absolutely gorgeous! Its my favourite too!![]()
I dont mean that the war is over. What I mean to say iis that there is no active war happening at the moment. Atleast up until the story point I managed to reach.Uh..I thought the game takes place DURING the invasion of the north?
