Ha! You can attack the guards for sure. Even black ones. But you cant kill them. Because they will kill you before you kill them.ArRam I'm just wondering how the guard system works. Can you kill them, I'm pretty sure you can but wanted to get an answer. And are you aloud to kill the black ones, or city gaurds.
Well one of my biggest fears just got thrown out the window. Thanks for the review and not regretting my pre-orderI love it because its not mindless button smashing. Its very strategic. Button smash and u r dead. In combat, u can attack, dodge and parry, all on different scales, example – light attack and heavy attack. What I love about the combat is that it isn't the same for every enemy. Every enemy type requires different strategy. If there are groups of enemies, attack and dodge, attack and ard sign and again dodge. If it’s a slow elemental monster then attack attack attack, dodge. If it’s a high level royal
You can piss them off.... Thats for certainOh okay, but I think it is possible to kill them. Damien said that. I think it's just really hard, but if you level up and are really good do you think it's possible
He's playing on the console version.also i hear people complaining about downgraded graphics . tho i think are they realy downgraded? shure for console they are becouse of the limited power of consoles while on pc you can build machines that are REALY powerfule .. like 4 titant z . the main question with graphics would more be .. can you turn them up on pc that are completly same quality like earlyer videos ? =P thats no one can awnser i guess before the pc version will be released in 4 days =) just wanted to point out basicly that there is a big difference betwen console graphics and possible pc graphics, since i read way to many post about downscaled graphics lately =P
thx for youre review by the way, thats the first thing i should of said, i allways prefer to read a fellow users reviews, but i take it roaches storage is not unlimited ?The horse is a your walking storage chest apart from ur own inventory. I think its good enough.
Its very unlikely that you will attack someone by accident. Because a lot of times you are surrounded only by enemies. Its also not possible to attack NPCs other than enemies and guards.Hey ArRam . just a quick question . have you had an issue hitting some one you dit not wanna hit ? ( like by accident ? ) and if yes did you run away and was he still very angry at you after that ( like instance attack you after that ?) i think about like i am tired and i by accident hit a guard and i go like .. ohh Sh***T =P i just run away and hope he is not angry anymore at me =P

It isnt. And I think thats for the best. Its really difficult to browse through items when you have a lot of them. The more items you have, the greater the pain.thx for youre review by the way, thats the first thing i should of said, i allways prefer to read a fellow users reviews, but i take it roaches storage is not unlimited ?
Can you elaborate more on this? This is the feature I was most curious about The Witcher 3 pre-launch. You said it's generic --I take that to mean it gets repetitive. You don't mean the word organic do you? As in it happens naturally? Does it follow the same pattern in every town? You go in, you kill monsters, people move in and set up shop. How frequently does it happen? It actually very generic. Many times its something u stumble upon. U see a village, u go there, but u see that there are monsters there. U can kill them if u wish, which will result in people settling there. No one tells u to go there and kill them. But sometimes its a part of the quest. Sometimes its not.
Outposts in Farcry unlock areas and new quests and its something u fight for urself or ur clan. In Witcher 3, u do it or not, its a choice. Clearing the area will only add more people who detest Geralt.![]()
Also in farcry the consequences are not present. In Witcher 3, helping people will actly affect ur game later. Like I said, ur actions might destroy an existing village if u r not careful. So its not just clearing areas for villagers. Sometimes they are screwed coz of u.
My bad. I meant to say it was organic... More Natural. Like I have said I have not explored everything up until now. In the prologue area itself, you have two settlements where u see this happening. Or was it one? I cant recall. But in the prologue area there will be atleast ome area where you will see this happening. Thanks for taking the time to answer everyone's questions in the forum. You're really awesome

Cool. Thanks for clarifying. That's a relief. Like I said, this is the feature I am most excited for and I was afraid for a moment there it was reduced to being a way to unlock new vendors. The way I imagined it, it was a way to visibly see the consequences of your actions because they visibly changed the behavior of the NPCs. Thanks againMy bad. I meant to say it was organic... In the begining you will see some people there... Later on if you visit the place, it will look more developed.
Ability points are awarded while you level up, There are places of power throughout the game where you can meditate and gain an additional ability point. I am not sure about how difficulty level affects ability points. Never looked into that.@ArRam How are skill points acquired? 1 per level? if so, on harder difficulties do you acquire less skill points? A dev said something to this effect one time, but I'm not sure if it's still true.
As far as I have played, Good gear appears only in the form of schematics. These schematics can be used to craft the armour. Just like in DA:I. But the system is simple here.1. How do you find "relic" gear? It's suppose to be rare items found throughout the world but how do you usually find these item types?
2. are there a lot of weaponry and gear found in an armorer's inventory? Does it appear different in different towns and cities like Novigrad having the highest quality of inventory and some smaller village having lesser quality items?
Is it one per level, or have you at any point acquired more than 1 point per level up?Ability points are awarded while you level up, There are places of power throughout the game where you can meditate and gain an additional ability point. As far as I remember, Its one per level. Is it one per level, or have you at any point acquired more than 1 point per level up?
