In need of help - Salamander Camps in the swamps

Hi Corylea, I think I may be in need of your help. I am also stuck at this quest.
I will try to sum up the important facts for you:
I cleared the salamandra camp in the swamp, there are already Scoia'tael there. I did not take the quest of the hierophant.
I cleared the camp in the sewers and got the documents from the chest there.
I posses an encrypted message, but no decryption key.
Jethro and a guard are side by side in front of the camp in the sewers with the following dialogue lines:
Guard: "Good work. Go outside and talk with Jethro"
Jethro: "I want to hear of your progress" or "You stand in the way, we are securing evidence"
In the swamps I have a marker "Rolands corpse" on a wooden bridge, but I can't find anything of him.

I already went two times into game stopping hings. (Headhunter) After each time I put the game aside for a few months. Now I finally want to finish it.
Can you please help me out?

Thank you very much Tommy but I finally managed to make progress. The game behaved funny but the solution was simple: I crawled once again through the complete sewers and as I walked into the second Salamandra camp there the quest log corrected itself.

Silly that I found the solution I searched for two days one hour after I post in the forums ^^

If somebody gets the same weird behaviour: The second camp is at the V shaped corridors mid bottom on the sewer map.

After you finish the Salamandra outpost in the sewers, you should see our old friend Jailer Jethro waiting for you right outside. Talk to him, and he'll direct you to another section of the sewers, where the head of the operation is; that person is the one who has the documents in question.And in the swamps, freeing the three groups of enslaved brickmakers doesn't give you the documents. AFTER those groups have all been freed, talk to Vaska and to the Hierophant in the Druid's Grove. The Hierophant will help you lure the biggest bad guy in the swamps to a place where he (AND his tame wyvern) will help you kill the guy. The other document you need is on that guy's corpse, once you kill him.

Personally I found it easier to take on Salamandra alone in the camp, where you can fight a single opponent at a time, rather than in the somewhat messy 4 on many fight, with FCR 1.6a. Not being outflanked (except *possibly* by the IFRIT, for which you should bring Spectre oils) is much easier than trying to deal with both poison bearing Salamandra and acid bearing Kikimores *at once* in an all-round fight.

There were one or two more places where 'help' didn't, but this was a clear case for me, and I no longer trouble The Heirophant about this matter.
