Inconsistent sound volume in combat

The volume of the sound hitting enemies is very random. Tho most of the time it's very quiet.
I don't have any mods. I have verified integrity of the files. I have also deleted everything on Gog Galaxy\Games\The Witcher and on Documents\The Witcher.
Installed the game again and issue still persists. I don't have this issue in any other games.

I did see that on xbox some people also had this problem and they fixed it by changing audio from Atmos to 5.1 uncompressed. I don't know how to do it on pc but either way it's definitely an issue with the game.

Same. What's interesting, after watching some videos i think everyone has the same problem. We are just more sensitive to it.

I found how to make the missing sounds appear back.
You should turn off all the surround features (like Windows Sonic) in windows sound settings. Then the battle sounds are back in the game.
Yes, I understand the result is not good anyway, but at least now you can choose.
