Initial Impressions and some Gameplay Questions

+
As promised I waited a week before posting another set of gameplay questions.

initial impressions of the game

LIKES

love it.
racecar
great open world rpg like rdr2
Sneaky Stealth like Metal Gear solid
very fun combat

The Shion Coyote car is like Chris Nolan's Batmobile. Very Cool and its thrilling to drive it.

i love that its ez to ditch the cops and end the alert, and i love that stealing cars and etc doesn't cause crazy cops hunting you all the time. very relaxed and makes it more enjoyable.

I also like that gigs and missions are not time sensitive. so if you need to go switch your gear or something its not a big deal, or finish a minor side gig before starting the big yellow one. all chill.

I am glad its part of the game and its there as an option, but Smart Weapons got old real quick. Thankfully all my Attributes/perks etc shift easily into just using normal power weapons.

QUESTIONS ---------------------------------------

#1
quickhack cues - if the goal is to recover ram after killing with a quickhack, does cue mastery actually hurt the ram recovery from data recycler? because data recycler gives 80% of ram cost from all remaining quickhacks when you kill with a QH. So i like using a high cost QH at the end of a full four queue. but queue mastery reduces the last qh cost by 50%, which would seem counterproductive to my ram recovery...

#2
Does the tunnel vision Perk (Reflex) help smart ar and smart smg?

#3
On a related note, how does CB77 treat "Range" for guns?
Like in Destiny, if a gun has more range it also means it does more damage.
is that the same in cb77?

CB77 Vocabulary
Choom = petrol/gasoline. But also Bro/Friend/Buddy?
Gonk = noun = moron? adjective = stupid or ill advised
Preem = Premium/awesome
Detes = details

#4
Is it pointless to combine lower tier PAX (non-lethal) weapon mods into higher tier weapon mods?
The whole purpose of PAX is to make a gun non-lethal (perhaps to use on cyberpsychos without killing them, or missions where you can't kill people).
Tier 3 PAX is +20% damage outside of combat and -5% damage.
Tier 4 PAX is +20% damage outside of combat and -2.5% damage.
Tier 5 PAX is +20% damage outside of combat (and no minus damage).
Therefore, if my goal is to not kill who I am shooting then even Tier 1 PAX would be best because the more damage, the more risk of accidentally killing someone? Yes I will shoot at their legs as they get low but still.

#5
On that same note, wouldn't low tier weapons also be more ideal for non-lethal because of lower damage? I have a Tier 2 Unity pistol saved so I have a weak gun with PAX for those non-lethal scenarios.

#6
can you ever collect too many crafting materials? if I've been dismantling everything instead of selling, i dont want to be throwing stuff out the drain. i assume there is no maximum cap?

#7
without spoilers, after the game can you just keep playing endlessly?

#8
how long does memory wipe prevent enemy from noticing me? can i use it and then simply walk past him?

#9
since sonic t5 cloaks enemy, does that mean i don't have to bother hiding his body? corpse/unconscious dude on the ground is invisible to his allies?

#10
if i go memory wipe, reboot optics, THEN sonic shock, it knocks them unconscious. but again, reboot optics is traceable...or am I misunderstanding it?

#11
why can't i call my car to the parking garage of my first apartment in Megabuilding H10???

#12
anything useful in computer "messages'? Or messages you pick up? or just lore and worldbuilding that i can skip? ever leads to new missions or $ but i have to open the message? I pickup tons of messages so it would be a huge task to read each one fully.

DISLIKES
As you walk around the world and fight you encounter way too many radios and they are too loud. should be option to reduce volume or something.

Its slightly annoying to have to tilt my view/camera downwards constantly to pick things up...accessibility option for people with arthritis etc? Or lazy people like me?

should be able to sort by weapon type in inventory.
anyone else notice when you throw iconic guns into the stash the 'Heart' favorited disappears? glitch?

The big white screen glare on computer screens when shopping is annoying. the white blop is right in the middle of the screen making it impossible to read what is underneath it. and the white glare is blinding.

SUGGESTIONS:
option to prevent screen burn - set a time of inactivity, V will start to slowly spin 360, very slowly, simply to prevent screen burn in on your expensive tv? or something like red dead 2?

I don't think weapon doesn't more damage, but if you shot on a target which is further than the "effective range", it deal less damages (furthest is the target, lesser damage the gun deal)
Choom = petrol/gasoline. But also Bro/Friend/Buddy?
The gasoline is the CHOOH2. Here some infos about Cyberpunk streetslang ;)

No, I don't think so. Non Lethal weapon (or with PAX), target simply fall unconscious when their health drop to 0 instead of dying. So higher damages is still better anyway, as long as you beware to not hit them once again after they're inconscious (one little hit, no matter what, they will instantly die).

I don't think so, I always dismantled every single weapons or piece of cloth which is no iconic during all my playthroughs and I never encountered any issue.
At least, if you think you have way too much T1 components, turn them to T2, T2 to T3 and so on :)

Yes, you can. No spoiler so no more details ;)

Just a guess, but maybe it's not a "road", it have many floors so I assume it would likely create some issues. For example, did you ever call you vehicle under a bridge and instead of spawning at your level, it spawn on the road above and go away from you?

Yep messages are mostly world building (outside of few instances). But there could be important and interesting infos/details about the world, characters,... in the shards/messages on computers.
Infos/details you wouldn't be aware of or wouldn't understand if you didn't read anything (for example, take the shard near your bed in the apartment, or the show on TV which is played the first time you take the elevator... They're not there for nothing^^).

Good questions all of them. For this one I wanna strongly encourage you to at all times go through all messages on a computer/laptop in a gig's area. No need to read them, just click them as a formality. By doing that, sometimes you'll unlock additional dialog options, an extra lead related to the gig, or an additional (secret) way to complete it.

Hmm... Never noticed any remarkable differences in neither range nor damage, but... There're 2 mods on Nexus that claim to fix the following.

One mentions a decline in weapon DPS the longer that playthrough progresses, the other mentions a decline in weapon DPS when the rate of fire and/or reload speed is being increased, and when a certain amount of shots fired simultaneously exceeds a certain number, those extra shots deliver no damage.

weird ill have to watch out for that. Thanks for the heads up.

About question #6, there isn't a limit to crafting per se, but there is an issue with the game where large amounts of dismantling increases the save file size. This was a huge problem when the game first game out because the save file would become corrupted after passing a certain size (I think it was 2mb) CDPR increased the size a save file could be, so now it is very difficult to breach the file size limit, but some people who have played the game for 100+ hours still have this happening if they are doing a lot of weapon dismantling, so just keep an eye on that if you're doing a lot of dismantling and playing the game for a long time.

huh. I am confused. Why would dismantling lots of stuff cause the file to grow? Do you mean NOT dismantling stuff and saving everything in inventory caused the save file to grow? Once something is dismantled and just adds to your # of crafting materials, its just 1 number then.
I am not doubting you at all just confused.
In any case its not a big deal. I'm almost finished with my 1st playthrough. All side quests almost done and about to go meet Kakato at the Embers club to reach the point of no return.

thank you for responding!

Well in short every item that you pick up is added to the save file, which increases the size. There's an old reddit post that givesa bit more detail about this:
https://www.reddit.com/r/LowSodiumCyberpunk/comments/kg92bg
In any case the file size limit was technically removed in patch 1.06, but I have seen more than one post since then reporting corrupted saves from people who did extreme crafting/dismantling and these save files were past 10mb. It's extremely unlikely anyone would reach a file size that big, but I thought I'd let you know anyway.

Also crafting contributes more than dismantling, sorry about the mistaken information, I was going from memory and had to look it up.

Okay I have a question

If I reset my attributes, does it reset them all to 3 or does it reset it to my original starting choices?
