You can leave Items at the inkeepers. And if you want it back you can also pick it up at another inkeeper. But when do you meet last inkeeper??

The last "innkeeper" is Dandelion in Epiloque

yes it is dandelion but he is not availabe in the first part of chapter 5, almost the whole chapter 5 if I think about it
