Installation Problem

i installed the game after the second disk finished and i put in my activation code it starts downloading and when it gets to Verifyingatcher_ATARI.exe it restarts the same download and just keeps looping this action over an over. ive tried turning off any security software,firewall exct and also tried reinstalling multiple times.

This has been asked multiple times, you may want to do a little search on this same forum. If you are performing a first time install the general suggestion is:

1) Download the Patch 0 -> 1.3 from http://en.thewitcher.com/patch1-3/

2) Disable your internet connection to avoid the Patcher from looping.

3) Install the game and run the patch you downloaded.

4) You may now reenable your internet connection.

And that should do it.

If anyone else reads this please correct any mistakes I may have made on describing the process.
