Instant crash without Galaxy installed

Using Windows 11, simply downloaded the offline installer from GOG website without having Galaxy installed. The game almost immediately crashes when launched from a memory segmentation error. I suspect you're trying to get information from the Galaxy client but get a NULL instead, then deference it.

I do get the watch the intro videos though...

I've sent a bug report after one of the crashes so the team can see it internally, but hopefully this little post will help contextualize it.

Same here, I do have GOG installed though but always run the Cyberpunk2077.exe directly. I've done this almost always since the release of the game and it still worked with Version 2.
But after the update to Version 2 Phantom Liberty, I too get a game crash during the intro.
So, it seems it doesn't matter if Galaxy is installed or not, it's running CP 2077 as "stand alone" that gives the problem?
Did send a bug report too just now.
