Thank you! This is one of the very few articles worth reading (with google translate, unfortunately). The tidbits about weather, stealing, Gwent and so on are the things I was looking for.

Isn't this like in the old Gothic games? I think this system is greatHere is a Danish preview article. Mostly the same stuff going on: http://www.gamereactor.dk/previews/271334/The+Witcher+3:+Wild+Hunt/?sid=a5658c234533fbea3b46b27a3c89c96e
"When we reached a small clearing, which was home to a level 30 Earth-monster, our sword could not even pierce it. After several perfect hits nothing touched it and after one single hit from it, we lost half of our HP. We called on our horse, Roach, who took us away from the strained situation." - They were level 15.
Hahahaha!!! Very true:wat:
Combat is no easy cakewalk. Geralt moves like a real human being, which means no superhuman feats of ripping enemies in half (i.e. Kratos). Watching an enemy carefully and judging its next move is as imperative to survival as is deciding if parrying or dodging is the best way to avoid taking damage. Simply put, you can’t just wade into combat in The Witcher 3. Consuming potions, using your magics and projectile weapons, and equipping a healing item will make combat easier, but you can’t let your guard down. Also, no regenerating health. You’ll either need to consume food or mediate to recover health (meditating does not restore health when playing hard or nightmare difficulties).

No, it doesn't make sense in any case.No health regeneration on hard+ above? Suddenly auto refill potion makes a bit more sense I guess
Previous one wasn't so pessimistic, just the title of it made it much worse. Actual article was more positive than some other previews with positive titles.I've Been Waiting Years To Play An RPG Like The Witcher 3
It's funny how this Kotaku preview is different than previous![]()
Yeah, I got the same impression. I went in expecting something bad, but the actual things he wrote were... good? It confused me. Why play this silly game with the readers? Just be upfront, you're not under the capacity of a blogger, and I just finished the article thinking that you're just stubbornly trying to nurture some reputation of a hard-to-impress dude, nonchalant about what most people are excited about.Previous one wasn't so pessimistic, just the title of it made it much worse.
