It is literally two pages ago :) There is also a little bit of a translation there (About the keyboard&mouse part especially.)

Edit: It "was" two pages while I was typing this, now it is three :) Sorry for the confusion.

They were not allowed during the presentation because they are not ready yet. I 'm sure that I am not the only one that getting the feel that the game is supposed to be played on controller with m&k controls as an afterthought.

Which is a sad thing and shows were are their priorities. It's like them going to the event and saying sorry guys but we are just playing with M+K the controller controls are not optimized yet consoles can wait.

But they said they were experimenting with the best setup, not that its not ready to work, it works just fine.

Its really important that the journalists get the feel right for the hands on, if I had my game working with a default ok configuration but Im not sure it would be the optimal one, I wouldn't let people try it either.

Another dev said that before the konrad interview, with controllers its easy because there are strong limitations that really make it an almost "one way to go" case, M&K can have many different setups, so they are still iterating on what would be the best.

I hope they implement key bindings, especially for selecting the signs (number keys: 1-9) instead of doing that slowdown radial shit (ruins immersion). It's fine for consoles, but for the PC, we deserve something better for a more advanced inputs like the M+K.

They still have time...

Well, you did not need to use the radial menu in TW2 so i doubt you will need to do it in TW3.

So what you are saying is that it takes more time to make a game work with a M+K than less time with a controller?

@Benzenzimmern teaching Daniel Hindes how to pronounce the tricky names of people and places from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Pretty funny. Benz is good in front of a camera.

Apparently Keza Macdonald has migrated over to Kotaku. A shame. She loves the Witcher and this article is very reassuring. It sounds every bit a Witcher game.

Gonna be honest tho, I give Benz 9/10, not all of his pronounciations were right. And he didn't give the full translation of Emhyr's name, forgot the White before Flame.

Anyway, me being a picky asshole aside, that was a nice video. Kudos to GS as well.

Yeah, in the end it was just a fun video. :)

Pretty sure he got CD Projekt pretty wrong (the CD part).

Agreed, especially considering that a lot of medieval cities were not all that big.

Maybe its just me ,but I thought Vizima was huge in TW1.(all districts ,sewers, outskirts combined)

I wonder if Novigrad will be actually bigger.

If you read correctly, then you understand that yes, CDPR devs said that, but depending what kind of work you want to achieve with a specific physical interface.

If you want to make a "working" control scheme as fast as possible no matter how good or bad it is, I dont really know how long it would take in the case of the witcher 3, and I havent heard CDPR talk about it. Now If you want to develop controls for TW3 in M&K that are what CDPR would consider "optimal", it takes more time than for controllers according to them.

Not hard to believe honestly, its pretty logical considering the act of doubting can be one of the most time draining activities of all, and more limitations, reduce choice, and a reduction of choice, leads of course to a reduction of doubt, thus a possible reduction of time investment.

The last one was wrong but @Benzenzimmern is not from Poland so I forgive :troll:.

I guess it's hard to pronounce "CD Projekt" for any foreigner due to the fact that you have to pronounce "C" and "D" like in polish alphabet

A Hungarian interview with three developers. Unfortunately, only the first few minutes are subtitled (the rest will be translated later). Nothing really new, though. The only minor new(?) information I gathered:

- For voicing Emhyr, they also asked Jeremy Irons, but Charles Dance proved to be a better choice.
- No hairworks on consoles, but it will work with AMD cards (duh)
