Which is a sad thing and shows were are their priorities. It's like them going to the event and saying sorry guys but we are just playing with M+K the controller controls are not optimized yet consoles can wait. They were not allowed during the presentation because they are not ready yet. I 'm sure that I am not the only one that getting the feel that the game is supposed to be played on controller with m&k controls as an afterthought.
But they said they were experimenting with the best setup, not that its not ready to work, it works just fine.Which is a sad thing and shows were are their priorities. Well, you did not need to use the radial menu in TW2 so i doubt you will need to do it in TW3.I hope they implement key bindings, especially for selecting the signs (number keys: 1-9) instead of doing that slowdown radial shit (ruins immersion). It's fine for consoles, but for the PC, we deserve something better for a more advanced inputs like the M+K.
They still have time...
So what you are saying is that it takes more time to make a game work with a M+K than less time with a controller? But they said they were experimenting with the best setup, not that its not ready to work, it works just fine.
Its really important that the journalists get the feel right for the hands on, if I had my game working with a default ok configuration but Im not sure it would be the optimal one, I wouldn't let people try it either.
Another dev said that before the konrad interview, with controllers its easy because there are strong limitations that really make it an almost "one way to go" case, M&K can have many different setups, so they are still iterating on what would be the best.
Maybe its just me ,but I thought Vizima was huge in TW1.(all districts ,sewers, outskirts combined)Agreed, especially considering that a lot of medieval cities were not all that big.
If you read correctly, then you understand that yes, CDPR devs said that, but depending what kind of work you want to achieve with a specific physical interface. So what you are saying is that it takes more time to make a game work with a M+K than less time with a controller?
I had to improvise! :huh:Gonna be honest tho, I give Benz 9/10, not all of his pronounciations were right. And he didn't give the full translation of Emhyr's name, forgot the White before Flame.
