Yes, but no spoilers i hope, I just want them to say how does it feel to play itThey've played it for two days? That should be enough for playing a good chunk of the game, so hopefully we'll get a better picture of how good the game actually is.
I'm concerned about the PS4 version, because it already looks better.1080p on XB1? That's possible. 60 fps? I wouldn't count on it. The target has always been a stable 30 or closest to 'stable' as one can get. A stable framerate is generally better than one that bounces a lot. Assuming for a moment it bounces between 30 and 40s then locking to 30 is the better choice for a smoother experience. G
enerally it's better if the framerate increase is a multiple of this order 30-->60-->120 I forgot the reason why but I think it had something to do with latency, not completely sure(or maybe I'm just imagining things).
You areSo..... is it possible with more great optimization on the devs part, to maybe....get XBOX1 running @ 1080p @ 30fps and PS4 running @ 1080p 60fps ??
I mean, you pc guys are stoked and are happy with this new news. Is it not out of the question for consoles to get an even better performance with more optimization left? I'm insanely optimistic @ this point![]()
Sell your kidney and buy good PC...Witcher 3 is worth the sacrifice...You don't need two of them anywayI'm going to play on that console first,
Unfortunately this is not how things work.I'm concerned about the PS4 version, because it already looks better.
I'm going to play on that console first, I was thinking, if they can get the XBOX1 to 1080p then maybe they could also get 60fps out of the PS4 version?
Instead of XB1 now running @ 900p/30fps it would be running @ 1080p/30fps like the PS4 specs are now, but with further optimization can they get the PS4 running @ 60fps instead of 30?
That's my main question.
Will devs make both consoles equal in the end or will PS4 always have the upper hand in some way?
Because we all know that the PC has the real upper hand, clearly!!

Aaaaah... no worries, well if I time it right I can maybe have a new kickass PC shortly after devs get the redkits out to the public modders. I have never had my own gaming PC. So what I want to know is.... is it smart to wait like 6 months after redkits are out so modders have time to create more cool shit? How would you do it, if you were in my shoes so to speak? You are
Unfortunately, there is no way the consoles are going to hit 60fps. PS4 is powerful enough to drive a few extra lines of resolution, I doubt its enough to push an extra 30 frames though. If they get Xbox to 1080 I bet MS announces it immediately.
Honestly, I wouldnt base that decision on redkit... who knows when itll be out or if any good mods will come from it. If you are ready to convert to pc gaming then make the switch whenever you are able.Aaaaah... no worries, well if I time it right I can maybe have a new kickass PC shortly after devs get the redkits out to the public modders. You will miss visuals and graphics, but everything else will be the same as on PC - story, combat, quests...You know, important stuffI'm going to miss a lot of you when TW3 comes out,
consoles are limited by their hardware...I'm concerned about the PS4 version, because it already looks better.

Man, I am concerned whether I will get 30 fps with something close to PC high settings, and you want high + 60 fps? THat is some optimismI'm concerned about the PS4 version, because it already looks better.

As a PS4 player I would prefer that they put the extra power into the graphics, lighting, effects, consistant framerate etc. than push for 60 fps anyway. You might need 60 fps for a true twitch game, but a game like witcher will play fine at 30.I'm concerned about the PS4 version, because it already looks better.
