Exactly...which absolutely destroys the purpose of the 'Witcher senses' mechanic (as it seems to me).
Honestly, I've feared he Witcher Senses mechanic from the moment it was announced. Edit: not to say it can't be put to good use. But highlighting the ledge you can climb onto just doesn't seem like it. And, as has ben said, the senses are made redundant by the minimap icons.

I don't mind the mechanic itself. It could be an interesting alternative to quest markers on the minimap, but having both is just weird. I would gladly vote for senses and no markers, having neither of them would be - again - absurd to me in such a huge open world.

That is an extreme case though. I do imagine being less blown away if everything is so clear and simplified that the game basically plays the experience itself.

I get your point, but seeing one thread too many about some stupid ass complaining today just kinda get's my blood boiling (now we have users who create threads to complain about combat not being like AC more, what more should i say)
In general there are mostly die hard Witcher fans on this board, so you can hardly blame there being topics about seeing changes that seem to simplify things.
The AC thing is weird though, I will give you that.
