i think the vizible quest marker from the beginning is becouse the part of the map has already been explored, this being a demo and there is no more "fog of war". it could be missing in a normal game and you just have witcher senses and/or a map arrow for the general direction

Yep, someone might have to download it and upload to mega or somewhere it's not viewing or downloading for me ;/

EDIT: Holy shit! I was trying different browsers, and Internet Explorer actually downloads it, might be beacause Skydrive OneDrive is MS tech or something.

EDIT 2: My internet connection will take a while to download this giant though. ;/

EDIT 3: Finally have the video, considering the quality (very good, but still has compression artifacts) the size of this monster is downright ridiculous. It should not be nearly as big. It's the first part of gamespot footage so it contains the meeting with Johny and fight with drowners only, so it's a little under 4 min. long.

I managed to encode it into a 325MB Matroska (mkv) file with no quality loss. So if enyone would rather download that instead i can probably upload it somewhere ;]

I'd be very grateful if you could upload your 325MB mkv file somewhere (if you're shure that there is no quality loss, of course ;) ).

Ok, uploading it to mega then. My internet connection isn't the best though, so it will stil take a whole hour. And no, I've double checked comparing the footage directly against each other, there is no noticeable drop in quality. The original file is just not as good as it's size would have you belive.

Edit:

Finally done, here it is:

Hope it works ;D

Well back in the day when RED was working on TW2 I did request the combat be (LIKE) AC but BETTER. I think I asked them do do it like AC1 because back then that was the best sword combat I had ever played and seen for the time but the things I hated and still hate about AC gams combat was the glowing highlight / lock effect on my enimies and when I saw no change of this in AC2 I stopped playing their games. All they had to do was turn that shit off and keep things natural but nooo. Anyways I still asked CDPR to do it Kinda/Like AC1 but WITHOUT highlighted glowing enimies or red enemy health bars or targets. And they did not take out the red enemy health bars or target system in TW2.:( What I liked was the sword blocking/klanging it felt and looked real and was Kinda fun at the time.Anyways TW3 still has the red enemy heath bars and some anyoing ugly yellow target system and... I STILL FUCKING DON'T LIKE IT AND I DON'T WANT TO SEE IT. Let me turn it off on my console in game options If you don't plan to remove it. PLEASE. I want the game to look natural/organic all the time even in combat. I love the looks of TW3 combat so far limb cutting is great and I still want to climb some big monsters but do what Dragon's Dogma did and let us at least turn off enemy health bars and our own and any other arrow/glowing/pointing/hinting/clues. like I already said a million times, if thoses clues have to be in the game I do not mind, I even like them some times but for fucks sake!! CDPR KEEP ALL THAT UN-NATURAL ARROW HINT CLUE POINTING SHIT IN THE WITCHER SENSE MODE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TY:)

Alright, seeing the gameplay in it's full glory it looks really great. I have been checking out the combat frame by frame and it looks very fluid.
Even the drowners have great facial expressions (check out the look on the one who is attacking Geralt first).
Finally had the chance to pre-order the collectors edition and I can't absolutely wait this game.

The first interview I've seen with Jonas so far. Ehm...it's not even an interview (not the full one at least) and it's also really awkward. (starting from 8:10)

since Geralt can see almost as good at night as during the day I asume his visibility will be better than you think. But to be fair how about you pop a Cat potion before you dive? ...resonable

No, he can see in darkness... not throught dense material like mud or dirty water. This is not the same as clean but deep waters and private of all light

ciriously....mud....i don't think there is going to be diving in a pudle of mud, we are taking about the sea here or at least a lake and they are not going to make you dive down 1 mile because you can't take the presure and you can't hold your breath that long, diving will be like 40feet deep and i'm prety sure light can get that far undewater if not furder

There has to be a light source for Geralt to see in "darkness".
He can just see in much less lighting than other humans, just like cats can (Ha @wichat).

If Geralt falls in deep swamp waters, he is pretty much dead, since his movements will be very very limited and as wichat said, he wouldn't see that well with all that mud in his eyes.

Seems you haven't got the chance to work with some kinds or quality waters of differents rivers. I beg your pardon, then.

@StaGiors... are you saying I am a cat? Why? where the similarities are?

from the footage we saw the only mass of water in the swamps are small pudles, you would have to try realy hard to get mud in your eyes, i realy dought there is going to be any deep water where you can dive in the swamp

the best chance i see of that happening is for CDPR to troll us and make Quicksand for a sure kill to make us rage quit

But we are talking about distance of combat in dirty or trouble waters... no need to see deeper complications....

I didn't think so either. How did that start by the way? Diving in swamp waters. Anyway, what are we discussing here? I kind of lost it on the way. Underwater fighting? If Geralt fights in such a depth, that he would not be able to see, he wouldn't be able to fight at all. In such depths the water pressure is huge, so any stabbing motion that you would do, has much less effect than it would have otherwise. But I don't think Geralt will be allowed to reach such depths. I mean we complain about normal underwater fighting, imagine what would happen if Geralt somehow could dive to the bottom of the ocean and fight Vodyanoi.

From the SOD trailer i don't think CDPR is going to make you swim blind, visibility was ok, believable, it would be awsome if they manage to make some badass water fizics if you happen to fall in the sea during a storm but i think that would be to hard to do

"Seems you haven't got the chance to work with some kinds or quality waters of differents rivers. I beg your pardon, then."
i don't dought that it would be indeed almost imposible to see in turbulent, dirty water, i have first hand experience with how dangerous it is, but from a game point it would be a bad choice to make the water to dirty unless you do that as a visual Que that this is the point of no return, nothing important here, it would be stupid to make you search for something and rely on pure dumb luck to find it.
