I agree the wait for information on this game is far more stressful than any of the exams I've got at the moment!!Omg I can't wait much longer!! Argh....!!
Any confirmation on the platforms the preview material will be showcased on? All 3 of them or just the consoles?Well, there will be preview events in Warsaw at the studio, in Scotland, in San Francisco and in Australia (I'm not 100% sure of where in Oz). These events happen either later this week and/or next week (I get to be part of the San Francisco event).
It is my understanding that all the material shown/talked about will be embargoed (meaning none of the invitees can talk about it) until the 26th. This is done so that all attendees have the chance to see the "stuff", have time to write about it and all are on an even foothold when it comes to releasing their articles.
Questions from the comment section are pure gold. They kinda give you a glimpse into the future of the forum. Some highlights:Speaking of the press events - you can ask questions to CDPR by commenting this video
- How detailed is the world? Will there be NPC's walking around with chat lines etc? (NPC's that are not directly linked with the story, just randoms basically)
- Will there be loads of things to do aside from the main storyline? Mini quests like in Far Cry 4.
Will there be a co-op mode for 2 players to go into an adventure in this open world game?
What makes this game stand out against other open world adventure games such as skyrim, shadow of mordor or even the batman Arkham series?
1: the life will regenerate by the time or we need to take medicine or something to regenerate it?
2: there is multiplayer?
So I'm forced to play as a white guy?
This was very insightful. Such an exhaustive and structured approach. Interesting to see how the ideas move up the chain of command and get rated repeatedly.
Oh my god if the final game really has that level of complexity to it then I will be spending hours in the game just following random NPCs round the world!!
I bet you will love your job when this day will come.... giving few current members (my too) short patience for bullshit.Questions from the comment section are pure gold. They kinda give you a glimpse into the future of the forum. Some highlights

So. Much. Butthurt. Incoming.
Kill me. The worst of all is the Multiplayer questions, I fucking loathe how embedded multiplayer has become in AAA games to the point where people just expect it, even if your game is a fucking RPG, the most unlikely genre to have multiplayer. People should be utterly shocked and taken by surprise when an RPG actually does have Multiplayer.Questions from the comment section are pure gold. Seems like a lot of stuff that you could already assume about the way games do quest design, especially RPG's. Although interesting non-the-less, especially for those who might not have thought about it before.
Genres never were able to cope with the complexity and depth of games properly, and through time, as this lack of precision evolves together with games' scope, it's even worse.Kill me. this article is very encouraging. i always had on my back of my head the worry that the game would have too many boring quests like skyrim and inquisition . but if they are taking so much time to review minor quests. then maybe i wont have to worry so much.
Very complicated.
