Not much to comment, there are people that enjoy playing a complex game with hard choices in it, and those who likes to collect flowers, horse crap or berries for future or existing lords
Yet i still enjoyed Skyrim so much...

I wish people would stop cross-breeding Witcher with Skyrim already (at least use some GOOD TES game), CDPR just used it as an example to compare the open world size ages ago.

Why so much hate for Skyrim? It had flaws especially in narrative and had many repetitive quests but it was incredible in other aspects. Cdproject red can learn from their mistakes as well as from what they did right. I do agree though that all these comparisons should be toned down a bit.
Well because a lot of people(me included) hold the opinion that TES was better off without Skyrim but more than that

It's CDPR marketing team behind these Skyrim comparisons. I don't see anything wrong with that. Skyrim sold millions and everyone heard about it. If you google skyrim - there is a chance now that "The Witcher" will be in the same sentence. I think it's one of the most effective marketing strategy. How do you think "The Witcher 3" got so much hype among the people who didn't eve know previous games? One of the reasons - it's bigger than Skyrim and it's open world. There are some people who will buy the game just because of that.

Beacuse it is awful as RPG. Skyrim is maybe a good sandobx/open world, but isn't a good RPG.
This beacuse it had falws not only in narrative and sub quests, but also in dialogs tree, main quest, combat system, skill tree, character progression and it allows metagame.
Keyboard and mouse seems awfully feasible there...but whatevs.
