Could be either, although surely there's possibly areas of the game that are less polished than others and they might not want people around there due to crashing & bugs. So going off a hunch I'd say they were probably locked to a certain area, but surely still a relatively reasonably sized locale.I wasn't expecting the W3 to have a playble preview event because of the open world. Did the "close" a specific area for the demo or the press can explore the whole map?
The first screen is part of a cutscene?
Yeah, I'd think so.I wasn't expecting the W3 to have a playble preview event because of the open world. Did the "close" a specific area for the demo
The hands-on is taking place in a prologue hub, witch is about the size of the W2 and it takes 5 hours normal gameplay to finish it.Yeah, I'd think so.
They cut off a section of the game, polished it as best as they could for the hands-on. That can't be done for the whole game immediately.
Hmm i doubt it, especially that people are playing 2-3 hours so it would be strange if they would let them to enter the main hub especially that the prolog one is already too big to fully explore it during that time, not to mention that it would be super hard to keep the spoilers off in the main map.Yes, I know that too, I read Marcin's postsbut we don't know if only the prologue hub is there or if there's more than that is what I mean.
No need too, it looks like you already got the infoMarcin's posts? What posts? Do I really have to stalk him on twitter, the polish forums and here to get any information about this event? (and any other social media he uses.)
We do know few things about it, like those that i wrote in previous post, not to mention that we probably know where it will be, but thats a different story. The Prologue is a "HUB"? Fuck. Yes. I guess we don't know the details, but that makes it sound like it might not be super linear, and that sounds fantastic.
Interesting. Hopefully it isn't 5 hours acting entirely as a tutorial, that would be nearly AssCreed-Tier.It was on the polish side that he mentioned it took him ~5 hours to complete the prologue. It was linked somewhere.
The game starts with Geralt being taken chained up to some place along with other prisoners, he says nothing and they end up at a small village, the villagefolk are scared and hurry home. Slowly each prisoner is taken to the block and executed for their crimes, then comes Geralt's turn but at that very moment the village is attacked by a dragon and you manage to escape. Now the open-world is 'unlocked' to you.So basically we know where the game starts?
Yeye, add on the bottom with small letters "Skyrim" or they will take it seriously, especially that the village part is probably right...The game starts with Geralt being taken chained up to some place along with other prisoners, he says nothing and they end up at a small village, the villagefolk are scared and hurry home.
