And only 6 months? :D That means you started in February or March on it :pBtw, it mentions the EE will be downloadable off a Polish website. So its external mirrors then rather than internal?

The contents of 4 versions of the game that differ a bit... what exactly means a bit ;D and who are those countries / publishers who break the ranks?

Will the contents of the TWEE box vary depending on the country of release?Yes, but very slightly. We have four versions of the game that differ a bit, depending on where you live. It’s important to note, however, that each of them will be an exceptionally rich edition with great value, given market conditions and the fact that it will be available for the price of a regular game. All of the content is there – it just might be presented a bit differently.

I really wonder, what that means. Will it be the same as it was with the Collector's Edition? You guys know, the CE that was released in Poland had much more contents as the CE over here in germany. This thing has cost me 70€, that was more than the prize in Poland, for much lesser contents. Well, you can't do something, if our stores sell that box for this prize, but its up to you what contents will be in there. Now there is the same thing with the EE, will we germans pay the same prize for a EE box that contains much lesser stuff than the polish EE? Or what else does this mean? Will it be the same foolish thing as it was with the CE?And why you have made the poll for the 15€ EE package for registered users, when this one now doesn't be released? I must really say, I'm feeling a bit fooled at the moment and I'm really angry about reading that there now will be 4 versions of the EE box.So can I please have an official statement, about what's going up there at CDPR's merchandise section? I want to know what the 4 boxes for what country exactly will contain, please! I'm not happy about paying another 40€ for the EE, if I must see later, that other boxes have more contents. And what about the download, will there also be 4 versions of that download? Maybe one for each country or what have you guys in head with this download?

You guys really don't have to worry :). We are not going to fool anyone and differences between TWEE boxes result from specific conditionings in certain regions. That's why we had to prepare a bit slimer box for US edition of the game - the biggest retail chain in US wouldn't allow us to have on their shelves such large box as for example that from european version - we were forced to make a box the same as for every game released in United States. Even having a slimer game box, the content in US version is still nearly the same, except from the game manual in a pdf file. Moreover, you don't have to worry - everything mentioned here (http://www.thewitcher.com/community/en/www/ee_description.html) is regarding the european version, which hasn't changed at all. Polish version on the other hand will receive two additional stickers. Russian version, prepared by Novyi Disk, is slightly different - both manual and game guide will be in pdf files, with official soundtrack from the game in mp3 format.Downloadable version will be of course the same for everyone :).

Ahah! The U.S. manual is missing in hardcopy form! In addition to boobie censorship, our manual didn't pass either. Sheesh!

Well, ok Brysiu, but you haven't answered my 15€ EE box for registered users question in your post. Why you have made the poll, when there now isn't that mentioned box released? And what about the book, in the news is the saying of book publishers, that don't want you to give away the short story for download. But in the box we can purchase it will be in or not?

Poll results were only a part of a decision-making process. To tell you the truth, we would be really happy if everywhere where The Witcher Enhanced Editon is released we could provide you with both standard box and that "update" version (not to mention the downloadable one from our website). Sometimes not everything is up to us and some plans are changing, that's why "Update" pack is only released in Poland and in Russia, where bandwidth problems are very likely to occur. The poll hasn't helped us in resigning from other markets but it was an important thing, for attending in which we are really grateful to you. :)

Brysiu,Can you confirm whether the Russian/Polish Update editions (i.e. the cheap ones you just referred to) will have the physical game manual, short story and music cds? Or are those also the same as in the main EE box and only have them in digital form?

I'm impressed to read that the player will be given the possibility to choose the language and subtitles in the game menu. Same as a movie DVD! I've got one question : a lot of players have been complaining about Geralt "always running" behavior. I must admit it looks weird to see this character running everywhere he goes and I really miss a "walk" mode. Will this enhanced edition feature such a mode? Or is there a small patch scheduled to solve this issue? I know that playing in isometric camera allows to make Geralt walk but I definitely prefer playing in OST view. A walk mode (a switch key for instance) would be appreciated.Sorry to bother you with this everlasting question and thank you again for your great efforts you've put in this great game.

This is not in particular mentioned in the EE description. Maybe it's part of the "and much more" enhancements but I don't think so. I guess Geralt still runs everywhere he goes.
