Intro in 21:9 - originaly rendered - why not usable?

i'm reaaallly happy with the game :-D
21:9 rocks sooo much - thanks for the support - reallly appreciate that!
Sad think is that the cutscene are not in 21:9.
but one big question. in the intro video it is rendered in 21:9 so you have on 16:9 black bars in the upper and lower area. Why it is now shown in its proper resolution 21:9?
is it somehow possible to change this? is it possible to modify the cutscenes so they show also 21:9 ?
