I think it's a tricky to solve issue because it's very very situational. I had a similar case once on PS4 long ago and it began during the last part of the gimme danger quest while entering the warehouse. I decided to enter that building in a very sloppy and chaotic way to enter the warehouse and I guess the game wasn't ready for that - after that my V was invisible to all opponents.
That being said, after completing the Gimme Danger quest things went back to normal. So it's quite possible that a cutscene will reset things back to normal. Letting V go to sleep is also be worth a shot - although it's probably not as likely to fix this issue.
In general though, if you run into things like that it's really best to load the previous save game. And yeah, as Bartinga suggested, you can also contact support using the link
