Fine. I give up.Don't think the same. Respect it
Ok, I'll moderate it. I was asking for respect for my opinions as I do for others. I haven't insult anyone or have said that the opinion of others are bullshitModerator: Don't like your tone. Cool it. Before your account is adversely affected.
I'm making a custom armor for GeraltAt 80 000 views on this thread, I will do another fanart of Iorveth and Saskia : )
Anyways guys, I was trying to download REDkit hoping that I would be able to export models like Vergen(if it can be done) to have some decent setting, but the links to part 4 and 5 are not working.
Are you experiencing these issues as well?
is that iorveth's armor?I'm making a custom armor for Geralt

Yup, i had to cut the dress because there's too much clipping.is that iorveth's armor?
an armor, work in progress it looks like the iorveth's armorI cannot view it! What is it he is making?
It still needs a bit of workNo idea really. I click on show spoiler but it does not show me anything.
It may simply be related to the location (Temeria) and story of the game why Roche was chosen over Iorveth.I'm guessing Roche's path was more popular, or had his part finished first which is why he made it into the final game. The idea that CDPR cut Iorveth because he was 2deep4u is quite frankly bullshit.
OK, for all your love for Iorveth you seem to get all the basic facts about him completely wrong. Iorveth aiding a country who already once used and betrayed Scoia'tael (and used them again in not direct way in Witcher 2) and almost executed him for his loyal duty? Give me a break. He would rather gather the remaining Scoia'tael forces and oppose the Nilfgaard invasion, as he knows there is no way he could count on the Emhyr's mercy.Iorveth fits helping Nilfgaard against the Northern Kingdoms or helping the non humans of Novigrade once Radovid takes the city. In the main story, almost every character of TW2 could fit perfectly. IMO the reason why Roche is in the game is because the character is more simple than Iorveth. In a game who tries to attract the mainstream public is easier to put a patriot who is fighting for his defeated country than an elf who is fighting for his race and could support both factions or none of it.
IMO is something like that: simple characters=easy to understand=more new players=more money.
Anyway, I think everyone knows my opinion about the game
They should've released it as an expansion to TW2. I wanted to see Francesca and Isengrim, dammit! :cirisad:There was something...Long time ago...

I know what I'm saying. Using your own words, why Roche is helping Nilfgaard to win a war when is the same country that is butchering his own people? Because is the only option to "free" Temeria (a poor option IMO). If we would had heard this argument before the game was released many of us would had said that is impossible. Roche would never do that. But at the end, that was what CDPR wanted to happen. If this can be done, you can put Iorveth again with Nilfgaard. Reasons? The only way to save his people. Is a silly argument? The same as RocheOK, for all your love for Iorveth you seem to get all the basic facts about him completely wrong. Iorveth aiding a country who already once used and betrayed Scoia'tael (and used them again in not direct way in Witcher 2) and almost executed him for his loyal duty? Give me a break. For me both fight for the freedom of your country and freedom of your people are very basic and easy to follow concepts (and Roche is not any less complex then Iorveth), so that's definitely not a case. It just made more sense for Roche to be there, so when it turned out they were unable to do everything they wanted and needed to cut some things out, they had to make a choice.
(And I still don't get it why anyone expected Iorveth in Toussaint, the Nilfgaard territory, where there is no Scoia'tael, or that they're going to shoehorn him into the expansion story they already came up with before the game release, even if there is absolutely no place for him there, just because some people asked about it.)
Any chance to recover those deleted files from 2014? To see how Iorveth would look like in TW3. Thanks in advanceIt still needs a bit of work

The thing with Temeria is that it first suffered through a civil war, regicide and war with Nilfgaard one after another and through careful exploration of No Man's Land you can see how much damage has been caused by that conflict to the kingdom. That's why Vernon tries to reach the compromise with Emhyr instead of keep fighting until there will be no Temeria left to save. That's also creates a conflict between Roche and Dijkstra, as Redania wasn't affected by the war that much, so Sigi has still a plenty to lose, while Roche is left with almost nothing. Iorveth on the other hand already tried that option, so it's unlikely for him to repeat the same mistake twice.I know what I'm saying. Using your own words, why Roche is helping Nilfgaard to win a war when is the same country that is butchering his own people? Because is the only option to "free" Temeria (a poor option IMO). As I said, almost every character from TW2 could fit in TW3. And Iorvet fit until he was cut in 2014. Reasons? My assumptions is that Iorveth is a more complex character than Roche and that's why he was removed. In the context of TW3 he could support Nilfgaard, he could keep the fight against humans or he could have left the fight after Vergen was destroyed (which requires explain what was Vergen, something that never happened in TW3) but, on the other hand, after the invasion, Roche is one simpe option: Temeria, Temeria and Temeria.
I'm sorry. If that makes you feel any better, I sided with Iorveth too
While that doesn't make me feel better, I am at least now safely assured that you are a person with good taste. :victory:I'm sorry. If that makes you feel any better, I sided with Iorveth too![]()
