I'd rather wait until the end of the year rather than have it crash on me every time i go somewher prettyVlkW said:I'm not gonna wait and in fact i already pre-order the game, and about the console version you get the notion that they are working on it and probably close to the end of the year ( guessing ) we'll have a release.
How do those "feature" make it a console game? Autosaves really?Aver said:Well, it's pointless to wait for console version if someone has good PC but still prefer to play on console. Just connect your PC to TV and plug in your X360 pad to your PC and start playing. There is no difference between TW2 and other console games, actually it's look like game made for consoles and ported to the PC - 16:9, autosaves system, inventory like in Mass Effect, Quick Time Events etc..
I kind of agree with Aver though that it seems to me the game was design to have consoles in consideration prior in devloping the game. Like it or not, business point of view profits always come first.Exuro89 said:How do those "feature" make it a console game? Well, those features are clearly designed for consoles. Especially save system based only on autosaves. I'm used to different features in PC exclusives. But I'm not saying that it will be bad game. I'm just saying that it lost PC style.Exuro89 said:How do those "feature" make it a console game? Autosaves really?
The game has quicksave and manual save. I remember someone confirming that. It is not the save mechanism that clearly shows it's designed for consoles. It is the the reduced number of skills, radial menu, inventory interface that shows the game was designed with consoles in consideration.Aver said:Well, those features are clearly designed for consoles. I hope that it is as you say.I wish to see some mod in future that will change a new interface into sth similar to the old one.archaven said:The game has quicksave and manual save. I remember someone confirming that.
did i say for you to do otherwise?my point with the end of year release is that they will have time time to work on a port that will not restrict the experience for console players and take advantage of the christimas sales.Lothbrok said:I'd rather wait until the end of the year rather than have it crash on me every time i go somewher pretty
I cannot find the source right now, but belive me, there will be manual save, it has been confirmed twice at least.Aver said:I hope that it is as you say.I wish to see some mod in future that will change a new interface into sth similar to the old one.Aver said:The game has quicksave and manual save. ¿? It has been confirmed that it will be only one non-censored M-rated version for PC. Since we don´t have confirmation for console versions, its pretty soon to talk about rating.MichaelFuglas said:If there is an AO version I'm pretty sure it will only be on PC and the console version will be just Mature. I don't care for censorship so I'll be playing on PC. Also, I can't wait a year longer. The first one was just that good.
Why would it have dumbed down combat when even the PC version supports a gamepad? I'm guessing the combat would be identical.Sifer2 said:If there is a console version its going to be like Dragon Age people. Worse graphics an dumbed down combat I guarantee it. Why you would want to wait for that is beyond me. Unless you just really have an old PC an can't afford a new graphics card. But then if you spent the money from your console an its games on your PC you wouldn't have that problem. Which is why I do wish this would remain exclusive. I feel like PC gamers deserve exclusives too.
There are PC exclusive games that rely on autosave, such as Amnesia: The Dark Descent. It was done to preserve dangerous atmosphere. Autosaves do no equal console.Aver said:Well, those features are clearly designed for consoles. Especially save system based only on autosaves. I'm used to different features in PC exclusives. I can't say i agree on that.. It has been confirmed by the previewers the game looks really beautiful and in no way a console port. But i kinda disappointed getting 'lied' to PC exclusive.Oddness said:It was never exclusive. The game was designed for console from the start.
