Those metal cuirasses are just the type that have the metal bulging out. I really question the devs choice with them because they look awful imo and do not fit Geralts style/personality at all.

From a 'looks' perspective. Yeah it looks stupid. But from a realisim / practical perspective. Those designs are spot on.

Breastplates were curved / angled for extra protection. A spear / sword would go right through a flat one. Same philosophy with lots of defensive metals, btw. Including tanks.

Saying that. I don't think witchers of the wolf school would even consider wearing a bloody breastplate. But..games be games.. I guess.

With all said. Yeah I agree, it does look pretty stupid. That, plus his chubby-checker cheeks xD

Yeah, World of tanks players know what is up with that. :D

Those breast armors (like the Griffin ones as well) are actually somewhat historically accurate: https://en.wikipedia.org/?title=Cuirass

Yes, they don't look that great, but that is how they were designed.

If you think he has chubby cheeks I assume you are using Nvidia Hairworks. It changes his face and makes it look more bloated.

He looks much better without it. Damn near perfect Character design imo.

He's not fat, he's big-boned.
Mutations caused that.

Depends on how many dog steaks he just eat. Causes belly-bloat, and ass-gass.

Well, he may not be fat, but he definately has GIGANTIC hands (probably not appropriate, but just check em out whenever he caresses someones arse! I'd be effin terrified if they came near me (though that may be cause I am a dude)).

Small bit of information for the modern age: Metal doesn't flex.

You see those metal cuirasses Gearalt is wearing? Yeah, they don't flex either.

So if you want to do something while wearing one of those things, like breathing perhaps, you're going to need a bit of space.

Sucks that Griffin mastercrafted armor also has a beer belly. And that is supposed to be one of the top three armors in the game =/

It's all that alcohol he uses for his potions, all goes on the belly!

Gerald is a fatass.

However, Geralt looks pretty fit to me.

Griffin armor would be better to be designed as some mail armor instead of breastplate... Breastplate would suits more to heavy armor than medium type. Cat armor looks like combination of mail and quilted linen, which is OK for light armor (even though it would be hardly light, but definitely more flexible)

Nilfgardian DLC set looks like true light armor, made just of leather, yet its real protective ability would be quite low, as leather, especially that nice shiny one, had to be softened, and softness is the least preferable thing about an armor...

but i guess these things will be easy to fix by community, once RedKit is out...

I always have Geralt clean shaved. He looks better that way. Also, i missed the pony tail version that was in Witcher 2. I think that looks better than current pony tail. Disappointed the hair DLC options are actually quite limited.
