Is it me, or does everyone have a raging hardon for romancing Judy?

Tbh, ME2 was practically holding our hand during the game, so everyone could survive. At least ME3 didn't have a full happy endings (endings were shit, mind you), but when you chose the red one, you sacrificed the geth. That was a fair trade for defeating the Reapers, imo.
Really? Because on other playthroughs I let everyone who could die, die. And did the ending alone as much as possible. I like doing some playthroughs as asshole sheperd. Which lacked on V.

Who cares? The whole 'Edward vs Jacob' thing that was a cultural phenomenon, or the other one from 'Hunger Games'. People like romance in their media - you find it in novels, television, music, comics, movies, and everything that humans touch. Romantic dramas and comedies are huge markets even before you get anywhere near porn, so of course people are interested.

Also, the game sells you sex from the get-go, in every direction you turn, so of course people are going to be into their partner of interest.

I encourage it, I want more romance with more depth, at every level of the game.

Judy appeals to the gamer who always wanted to go for the punk girl. I assumed they thought she'd be THE romance given she's the only punk girl in the game.

Nothing wrong with fantasy fulfillment, that's the point of games after all.

Meh theres one everyday either stating how sad it is shes lesbian or saying every othe "romance" is shite in comparison.

What none of them seem to realise is its there own opinion and there entitled to it, most of us dont really give a fuck

For me personally is Judy the only mature option if you are into girls irl.

Even in the story she is written like a good friend.

First she is the tech wiz, who introduce you to BDs. Then you go on an entire arc to rescue her friend Evelyn.

After that you can help her making a move at the Cloud.

She has emotions, she is caring and a tat idealistic, but not to the point of unbearable or unable to change.

Panam in comparison feels like a girl first time in love, doesn't know what to do.

Wants to be with you...but family first...you can be with me if you join the family...yadiyada.

But what if I don't care about the family but want to have one with you alone? Nah...Aldecaldos stand as one...are the best...until I have enough and they suck...then they are the best again...ugh...thank you, but no thank you.

Rivers is ok...I guess...
Strange triangle with his sister going on...
He is just a "good guy".
I couldn't really tell about one of his favorite hobbies or special talents.

Kerry is cool but I am not sure if he has the hots for V because of Johnny or because V is V...

Personally I would love to have Rachel or Sandra as options as well.

Judy is the only one with really truly compelling story - at partially since she's in the main line i'm guessing. The rest are either just kinda there, or off-putting in some way (If not downright Creepy - I'm looking at you Kerry!).

Kerry's quest is hilarious. His romance is godawful, though.

I felt River's quest was one of the few that actually had any real emotional oomph to it. Who gives a shit about 90% of the jobs?

Well, saving a teenage boy is pretty good.

But yes, Judy's quest to take down clouds is a better main quest than Johnny and saving V.

You likely already know, but she makes an appearance in game in the quest "Bullets" (why yes, that IS the name of the song in the trailer!).

There also seems to be a lot of folks wanting to see more from the Mox bouncer at the front door of Lizzie's. I think her name is Rita? I scan her to get her name every time and forget it quickly.

Yes, exactly why I was able to say her full name "Melissa Rory" hehe. Most of, if not all of the quests/jobs/gigs in the game titled after a song title (I think all of it so far). Another details that probably missed because of the negativity (unfortunately).

I get shes hot as heck for a lesbian, I get Kerry is too, and Panam...River is....kinda eh.

Its just the weirdest obession right now in the Cyberpunk community and its kinda scary
Takemura and Kerry are the best looking imo

There's others that I wanted as options. Some that would make you go WTF. Because I wanted evil outcomes. Or romances to turn evil characters good. And also to flesh out unused characters to the overall game. Placide being one. Yes, Voodoo's are shit. But wouldn't been interesting to turn him good. Or join the Voodoo's to gain control over Pasifica. Unlocking perks for the final mission. Or special upgrades to your body. That's the RPG element that the game seriously lacks. Judy romance should allow you into Mox and get perks for their gang.

I believe there are some people who would love to romance Maestorm chars like Royce, Dum Dum, & Brick. So Placide or maybe Brigitte probably much more "normal" hehe. While there is no clear "faction join" system & the special perks with it, player do get iconic weapons from some big characters. For example, you get Lizzie's handgun & Judy's MOX (Carnage) shotgun. So far I got iconic weapons from Maelstorm, Aldecaldos, Mox, Tyger Claws, Animals, Wraiths, Valentinos, 6th Street (might be missed the Voodo Boys one or it's a cyberware/implants instead).

Seriously, what they did with audible music, lyrics, and quest titles in the game is unique and absolutely brilliant. New Vegas was clever, but CBP2077 turned it to 11 with recording their own music that was already canon AND making it relevant to the story. My running joke to folks in the know is that I had a Relic malfunction in real life when I realized that the song "Black Dog" is about the relationship between V and Johnny. Of the quest titles I think "So Happy Together" is my favorite, but that's probably because I failed it the first time and couldn't figure out what the connection to the song was. When I got it right on my second play through it clicked into place.

Yeah, CDPR did good job there. Let's take for example Judy. She's got at least two references in her tattoos to songs. "There was nothing to fear and nothing to doubt" refers to Radiohead song where the videoclip shows some character diving through underwater city, feels familiar? As Radiohead fan shit like this make me appreciate Judy and the whole diving quest way more. Another reference was quote from Red Hot Chilli Peppers also connected to this story. I believe there is way more stuff like that but I didn't catch everything unfortunately. If attention to little details in other aspects of this game was as big as in those references, then what a game we would have.

About quest & song connections - all or almost all quests in the game are named after songs, it was confirmed by devs, they even created a whole playlist :)

Thanks, in my language quest names didn't have much in common with song titles so it's good to know something like that is a thing.

Yep, the "official" list was a nice backup when I got into an argument on YouTube about "Knockin' on Heavens Door" isn't a Guns 'n Roses song, they just covered it.

Totally! It felt like I was shooting an alternate version of the official video.

Considering GoG says 36% of players finish Panam's story and 25% finish Judy's story, I'd say there is more interest in Panam.

The noisiest people are not necessarily giving you a good indication of what is actually happening (with this game or any of a number of fandoms).
