Is it possible to modify enemy "leash" length?

I'd like to increase the distance that enemies will pursue Geralt. Right now, if I encounter an enemy and do two backflips away from them, I can stand there and they will come within 5 feet of me and stop at an invisible wall. Except for enclosed spaces like sewers, this makes many fights too easy even on the hardest difficulty. Can this be changed with an ini file or similar mod?

Also, I'd really like to disable the auto-draw and auto-sheath of swords, which is extremely annoying when combined with the short leashes. If you roll out of the "zone", he puts his sword away. You hit the key to draw it again because there's an enemy right there, it detects the enemy, auto-draws the sword, then registers the draw key and puts the sword back away! The monster gets free hits while Geralt tries to fist fight it. This should be an option in the next patch, but in the meantime, can this be configured/disabled with an ini file?
